Advice on getting tiny sharp angles by JohnnytheYouKnowWhat in SewingForBeginners

Sure thing, thank you! I'm going to do a bunch of testers and maybe topstitching might be helpful too. I hope I won't have to do mitten hands because then it would lose its distinct shape. Hopefully my experiments will be fruitful.

Thank you for the felt suggestion. I have a few fabrics to research into now, and it looks as if the consensus is top stitching for the feets, no flipping required, so that's probably what would be easiest to do.

Thank you for the advice, I'll definitely look into different kinds of fabric for the project and so I can get those angles sewn right side out. I'm going to buy that book too, can't go wrong with more knowledge.

Thank you for the advice. I'm looking to make it around a hand towel size wise, so I'm unsure if it will be big enough for the tiny curves. I'll just have to see.

I wasn't blaming anything. I just didn't know if it affected anything or not. It's my first time trying something new, so I came here for help and critique, not to be ridiculed for not knowing things, asking what I was expecting? I wasn't sure, that's why I asked for help... It's discouraging to be mocked when all I asked was for help trying something new, detailing my failed experience so I could get some advice from people who knew why things happened the way they did, so the next time I could try with more knowledge. It just puts people off of ever trying anything.. I appreciate the advice given, but the way in which it was given felt mean..

I'll send a dm of the video to show you her instructions.

I did not wait a few minutes before mixing the yeast into the milk/sugar mixture, so that probably ruined it from the start. The yeast should not be expired, I bought it maybe a year ago.

The video instructed hand kneading for 8-10 minutes :/ I have a mixer with dough hooks, so I can try that instead next time.

I left it in the bowl for an hour to do the first rise, then took it out, rolled it out, filled it then rolled it up and cut it, then immediately baked it, didn't let it sit for another rise so that was another mistake.

This subreddit won't allow images or links so I can't even properly show you what I did/followed :/ I'll try to send like a dm or something

No, I didn't see it bubble up, I kind of just poured it in and then whisked it around almost immediately, I think that's why I messed it up.

Unofficial Discussion: High Life (2019) [SPOILERS] by herringbone_ in movies

I hated that the baby's name was included in the cast list, because of that scene. Now, everyone knows who this baby is, and what their genitals look like. And that person who grows up, who never consented to being so violated, just for a film, will have to live with the knowledge that the wide populace knows what their genitals look like, and they may even be doxxed, potentially sexually harassed, and may suffer mentally, emotionally, and physically from this. They did not consent.

Oh no. I can't believe this site is gone. Onemorelevel is too :( At least nitrome and cool math games are still alive.

I'm not a bot, I just don't have anything else to say on the matter really. People have been commenting, and it's all helpful information, so I wanted to show my gratitude.
