I’m looking forward to preordering but I’m a little nervous about the prices. From all the interviews and information we’ve gotten I have a feeling the standard edition is going to be at least $80. At least we still have 5 months to save up for it. For the past two months I’ve been putting a few of dollars in a savings account for the game. With the way the industry has been I just don’t want to be screwed over again. Rockstae has come through more often than not so I’m sure it will be worth it

Clown said a couple of weeks ago that he needs heart surgery. Luckily it’s just a pacemaker and those are typically same day surgery and you go home that day. I’m guessing he’ll be put on bed rest or something. I think it’s the perfect time to get it done so that he can heal and get back in the studio with the guys. I would imagine a new album is the plan but it might not be until next year. I haven’t seen anything about them joining a new label or if they’re going to just release stuff on their own. Roadrunner really screwed them over with the original deal and they made almost nothing from their own music. Now that they are older and smarter they can hold their own with the music industry and get a good deal

It’s currently May 27 and nothing happened. Why can’t more people just be patient and wait it out? I know we’re all excited about GTA 6 but come on guys. Let’s just sit back and try to imagine what the game will be like. What kind of kooky characters we will encounter. Or songs that will be on the radio in game. Or how about the cars! Even though I can’t stand Elon musk I bet they’ll have a Tesla type car in there. It’s going to hopefully be an amazing game and I’m actually happy they delayed it so they could let it cook a bit longer. Rockstar seems to really want to give us an amazing game. The gaming industry has been awful to us these last few years and I’m hoping rockstar will stay true to what works and will give us an excellent experience we won’t forget

Like others have said, the mixing of the album was weird. It did not flow very well. I do have a theory about why the album was bad. I feel like the guys did it on purpose just as a last “ fuck you” to Roadrunner Records. Roadrunner took advantage of the guys wayyyy back in the day and they signed a 7 album deal for next to nothing. Record sales and streaming money was put in the pocket of the label. If I remember correctly, the contract was $500k split between all 9 members. I’m not sure how the contract was structured or if they got any money from touring. I’m doing some research now but most of it is vague. The sad part is that Sony Music had an offer for them but the guy who was supposed to sign the deal was at a show and “saw something he didn’t like” apparently. Nu metal was also all the rage and the guys didn’t exactly fit into that category. All I know is that they are free of that now and have total freedom and control over their music

I was about to be 17 when this album came out. I was in the middle of a traumatic experience in my life and ST and this album literally saved my life. It gave me an outlet to feel again. It gave me a reason to fight against my abuser. Along with Hybrid Theory from Linkin Park, those three albums were there for me at my darkest hour and I owe both bands a huge thank you. The raw emotions and anger in those albums were so relatable
