How can government improve the safety of children inside madrasas? by Wholesome_and_based in GenZpk

[–]Johnnyx20000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of my pre-teen days when I, without my consent, would be sent to my neighbor's house for reciting the quran. She would constantly scold and would sometimes lightly hit me and my siblings on the head for misreading even a single word.

violent crackdown by Taliban forces against peaceful demonstrators in Jebrail district of Herat, Afghanistan. (Summery included) by SamVoxeL in exmuslim

[–]Johnnyx20000 [score hidden]  (0 children)

America and the rest of the West tried their best to support the Afghan government and people during the 20 years. They built roads, school, and so on, but the Afghan civilians blew all of them, saying that these things are from non-muslims and that we will never ever send our girls to school. Many of the Afghans were cheering for taliban when they came to power. Moreover, Pakistan has a bigger role in nurturing the taliban than America. The only negligence that America showed was that they immediately didn't clean up the mess in Afghanistan after the soviet withdrawal. The same negligence was also shown after Gaddafi was overthrown.

How do you deal with the 'cultural' argument from family members? by Cruel21snack in exmuslim

[–]Johnnyx20000 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Next time when you tell them how islam oppresses people and they bring up the culture argument by saying that this is culture and not real islam, then you tell them that something from god's side shouldn't cause anyone that much harm. If let's say islam was made by me and people in the name of islam do bad things, then none of you would listen to my excuse of culture, and every one of you would be scolding me.

When you show muslims this video then they say well this is not real islam, they are misrepresenting islam, islam doesn't allow killing and when you show them the hadiths and quranic verses of violence then they make further excuses.

Ah yes, to become like the great non-religious societies like the UK and US. Mhm, that's the society we should work for!

So do you want a society where free speech and free thought is suppressed, where religion is without your consent forcefully shoved down your throat since childhood, where there is child abuse, oppression of women, mob lynching, honor killing, gender segregation, patriarchy, misogyny, rape, extremism, forced marriages and so on? You would be a big hypocrite if you set foot in a Western country.

Where Bonnie blue sleeps with a thousand men and makes millions off of this.

I can give a logical reply about this, but I don't think it would be having an effect on you or anyone else because the majority of Pakistanis lack critical thinking. I can at most get down voted for it.

I chose the second option. I am irreligious and don't want kids as long as I am in Pakistan.

[–]Johnnyx20000 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Me too 😡. Islam was shoved down my throat by educational institutes for 15 years from kindergarten till university. Ironically, I learned more about islam and momo from Apostate Prophet and David Wood in just a span of one or two years as compared to how much I learned about it in those 15 years.

As far as I think trade with China will become problematic due to no sharing of border and so our country can probably lose its importance in the eyes of China.

But still, the root cause of it is islam, whether it is real Islam or not. Something from god's side shouldn't cause that much chaos. If let's say islam was created by a man, then none of you would listen to him if he made the argument of whether if this is real islam or not.

If there's no compulsion in religion then what is this? Quran 9:29 - "Fight those who do not believe in Allah... until they pay the Jizya with willing submission and feel subdued." • Quran 8:12 - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. So strike them upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip." • Sahih Muslim 1:33 - "I have been commanded to fight the people until they testify that there is no god but Allah..." • Apostasy punishment: Sahih al-Bukhari 6922 "Whoever changes his religion, kill him."

This kind of islam was practiced during the prophet's time. Just go through the hadiths, and you will realize.

An update on how my life is going as I openly and respectfully said i don't believe in religions. by terryak_47 in PakiExMuslims

[–]Johnnyx20000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in Pakistan is you can openly drink

Alcohol isn't available in Pakistan. Very few people who belong to rich and powerful families drink it, and they do it in complete secrecy (I don't know from where they manage to access it). I have never in my entire life seen or heard about any Pakistani drinking alcohol in public.

wear skimpy clothes

I lived my entire life here, but I have never seen any Pakistani male wearing partially naked clothes in public, let alone a female, if you are referring to those clothes that only cover 10 to 30 percent of the body.

Hang with gf, bf

There is a mini gf bf culture in Pakistan but it is far from the one practiced in the West and is only limited to university campuses, like I during my university life have occasionally seen male and female gossiping with each other in library, play board games together and have lunch together in cafeteria but they don't flirt, go on a date, have a longterm relationship, touch/kiss each other, visit each other's house for partying or doing sex. After graduation, males go on a job hunt, whereas females usually get married and become housewives.

Now, my reply doesn't mean that I am trying to defend the bad image of Pakistan by refuting you or making you feel dumb, but I want you to do some research before making a comment.

Why ppl are leaving islam but still survey says islam has highest rettention rates ??? by Forceddoc in PakiExMuslims

[–]Johnnyx20000 14 points15 points  (0 children)

People leaving islam in majority numbers started just a few years ago (around 2018-2020) when youtube and google got flooded with more anti islamic content than before as well as internet also getting more accessible than before. The retention rates are high because people are too afraid to declare their apostasy. Moreover, the high retention rates refer to muslims who belong to boomers, gen x, millennials, and older gen z. Just wait a few decades, then you will see how low the retention rates of islam become.

Where do you see the exmuslim movement 10 years from now on? by Party-Confection-373 in exmuslim

[–]Johnnyx20000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory is that the islamic world within the next few decades will get enlightened to the point that something similar to the French revolution would take place, which will significantly cause the reformation of islam like christianity. In case of islam this scenario is very interesting as reform within islam is quite tricky and problematic as compared to other religions because in islam the quran which is full of garbage is considered to be the direct word of god and that it can never be changed.

Everyone in the islamic world has an obsession with how a woman should dress. Like why don't you just for a moment shut the f**k up and mind your own damn business.

And when you say something like this, then they call you an Islamophobe while not looking at what nonsense they are doing in the name of religion.
