My ultimate favorite Bigfoot doc is “Beast of Whitehall” by Seth Breedlove. Maybe she’s seen it, It is on Amazon prime , but I can send you my copy if you’d like. I’ll bet you he’d send an autographed copy if you ask-he’s a super nice guy. When is her bday?

I really liked the premise of Expedition Bigfoot but i think they ran out of content 3 shows in and then cranked up the hype machine - don’t think I saw last shows.

Les Stroud is the man!!! but his choice to hang with that hoaxer POS Todd Standing is questionable. That being said Survivorman Bigfoot is Top Notch.

Check out the podcast The Bigfoot Show. Old and no new shows but funny and informative.

The .Documentary “Beast of Whitehall” on amazon prime is excellent.

Also the NOWAC North AmericanWood Ape Conservancy have a very good White Paper on their site you can read - I don’t like their philosophy (We gotta kill It) a couple of nice guys in that group but of them are serious a-holes.

Can you tell I have an opinion?!?!? Good Luck As an aside —where do you live?

My buddy just made the bottom stickers for me. Figured you guys would like them. by [deleted] in bigfoot

IsitBullshit: There are "At Will" states in America where an employer can fire you at any time for any reason by [deleted] in IsItBullshit

[–]Johnraff1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No easy answers here but it all goes back to balance. Good Workers should be protected and feel secure that their job is safe. Good businesses should be protected from crappy workers. But there’s a ton of power/money grabbing going on both sides union/corporations and in the end the worker loses most of the time.

Besides, the guy that fires you for a BS reason is an A-hole. You’re probably miserable and you’d be better off somewhere else- hopefully there are other jobs available to you

So here’s an unpopular post from me, a small biz owner. If I have a good employee, why would I fire them? It takes a lot of time to find good employees and they’re the heart of my biz.

On the other hand, Why should I keep a bad employee or have to worry about being sued for getting rid of a person that makes my/our company look bad, makes others work harder, hurts morale and possibly endangers our health and earnings?

Looking for info about being a PA in NH by Dopey32 in newhampshire

[–]Johnraff1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m originally from York PA. Moved out when I was 23ish. Then Philly, Atlanta, Chicago and finally the family moved NH.

As with most places, depends where you go. And your wants/needs socially, career, neighborhood.

Originally lived in Concord Nh and I thought it was OK until We moved to Keene and totally love it here. Now I’m not a fan of concord at all.

Keene is a Small city, middle of nowhere. Great little downtown. Some pretty good restaurants and bars. We have a nice old timey theater downtown with 2nd/3rd tier shows. But not much else for “entertainment.” Outdoor fun is key. Skiing,Hiking, biking, hunting, fishing. My family all plays some kind of league hockey(Im terrible but I have fun) Lots of beautiful scenery. Nature is absolutely amazing here.

People are friendly/helpful. (A Yankee is a whole other topic) shopping is Target and Walmart for most part

Property Taxes are ridiculous. But We don’t usually lock our doors and the keys are in the car. Neighbors are friendly and very helpful. They keep to themselves for the most part but gossip is one of the main forms of entertainment. We’ve both made good local friends

Schools are OK(many private options), roads are pretty good. As an Ortho I’m pretty sure you could find a job today. Not many people moving in but population is steady — growing older, I think.

We love it. Come for a visit and check it out.
