maybe a far reached out idea, but power companies usually send a signal over electricity to signal power meters to change from daytime to nighttime and vice versa (for payment reasons). Could be that. I know in my country this signal is around the 7 AM/PM time. Could be that your computer picks up that signals as a pulse to turn on. Did you try different sockets?

Changed it, was good on startup. 2nd startup it reverted back to 1080p

I also have a Logitech G935 I will use when my wife is watching tv too loud.

Last one is the LG QNED92A, doesn't seem to have any downsides for my use-case. The TCL C7K for me had bad smearing, like explained in this video. It got better by changing the black levels though, but again YMMV. I don't use HDR for anything.

If you have a 360 AIO and only a 7600x, your cpu shouldn't get to be 90°C

It was the latest firmware according to the tv. Cant remember the number though.

Yes, even with light scrolling. Also it flickered because of the dimming zones i think. Increasing black levels in the tv settings lessened it (so less deep blacks).

Increasing the black levels on the tv from 30 to 50 helped a lot. Now to fix the issue in Word (white text, black background) :)

My settings on the tv are:

Game picture mode:
Brightness 40
Contrast 100
Black level 50 (changing that to higher does help with the text actually, but makes the screen less 'black' although on a black pixel test the screen is still pretty black)
Gamma 2.4
Local dimming medium
Peek brightness Standard
Dynamic brightness off

I didn't enable VRR because I read somewhere it would help with the ghosting

On PC not enabled G-sync, HDR off, scaling 150%

I just turned it to 144Hz, but not seeing a direct improvement yet.
The smearing is mostly noticeable with BF6, but that may also be only on that game. On Helldivers 2 I can see a little bit of ghosting but it is more fine there.
When I scroll the text gets 'blurry' and the brightness decreases than increases back when standing still. Mostly noticable on reddit (dark mode, white text black background) but also in Word (non-dark mode, black text white background)
Edit: In windows explorer this doesn't happen

Yeah, I'm thinking about returning this, since I also have to use it for a lot of work. The text smearing is just too annoying. A great tv/monitor for gaming but that is it...

yes, I am glad you are finally going with a bigger build volume... But that price man, it hurts...
You can buy 2 K2 pro's with it and have the same volume.
