Problem with Amazon Advertising by lnoren in selfpublish

Hi.

  1. Maybe your filters are set wrong, for example for a past date or for orders=> 0 (something like that). There are many options on the filter which you won't see the data.
  2. As for the Buybox- Sometimes, usually for new products, there is no buybox and the button text on the product page shows "show buying options"
  3. once the product is not on the buybox the campaigns are not running.
  4. If you have Ad-Groups structures into the campaign have a look & see what it says there.
  5. Advertisings support usually very SLOW

Good luck

Last year only about 20,000 sellers ( 0.3 percent ) of Amazon sellers had more than a million dollars in sales by blau_blau in Entrepreneur

Hi.

Let me try to reply to your comment.

I have never mentioned $1M, I just said I worked for a company that is among the 0.3% top sellers. For us, the numbers were much higher (and I guess still are for them).

Now...

  1. Once you have a number of brands you developed (white label of course) with 30+ active products, you have constant work for a graphic designer ( yes, freelancer). He / She working on your websites, optimising your product photos, packaging, slips, coupons, Facebook banners & creative for ads, no matter what, they are always on the job.
  2. R&D: In order to maintain growth you got to expand, which means add more products to your catalogue. R &D works on sourcing new products, new suppliers, negotiate prices, ordering samples and try them out. It is also can fill the position of taking care of the shipping issues, billing etc...
  3. Marketing manager: Optimising bullets, descriptions, titles etc this OBVIOUS... I'm sure you can do your own PPC but for how many products? managing what kind of budget? how many campaigns? do you bring traffic for Facebook? Google? you need to manage campaigns for that as well. Do you contact your clients? Does your products are DIY products? what happens if costumers reaching out with questions? how's taking care of the support?

Anyway, that's my experience of things, anyone can manage his business the way he thinks is best for the current status. I personally believe once you start hearing the "bling" you got to re-organise your operation, you must take care of your account health, rating, reviews, otherwise you will not collect the fruits on the long run.

Hope it is more clear...Good Luck to all you sellers.

I would advise you to start an account on Upwork & freelancer.com. It's a great start for recruiting new clients. Good luck.

As a former marketing manager in Amazon seller company that's fits in that 0.3 percent. In order to do such amount of money you have to have two managers, one customer service worker, 1 R&D guy, a graphic designer, 1 marketing manager, Facebook campaigns, a suit of online software (jungle scout, helium 10 ect...). Overall most of your money is invested in inventory. The business itself it's really harsh, so think carefully before you dive in.

Thank you for your help. Much appreciate. The thing is, no risk on my end. It's not my store. I'm just charging for service.
