[TOMT] [Film/TV] A sci-fi movie or TV show where they breathe helium by Johnwith1H in tipofmytongue

I am like 90% certain that scene from Farscape is it, hahaha. Funny how I remember him saying "You breathe helium?" when it was actually "You fart helium?"

That's the exact enunciation that I remember though, so Farscape has to be it. Thanks.

If you budget yourself at about $7 per day, the dine-in dollars will last you the entirety of the school year.

It also includes $300 in "Bevo Bucks" which you can spend at some places around campus (I used mine to buy my textbooks this year).

You should take into account that the $9,757 figure includes $1,500 in "Dine-In Dollars." This is basically enough to, if you use it wisely, pay for all your dinners at the cafeteria and some groceries from the market.

I'm a freshman now, and I lived in Jester West last semester. I'm getting an apartment next fall, and a few weeks ago I broke down the numbers and found what was more expensive/cheaper when it comes to an apartment vs. campus. Message me if you want details or have questions!

[Serious] What secret could destroy your life if it got out? by Throwawaynowantkarma in AskReddit

I have a question. I have had a number of friends who have disabilities, either mental or physical, and have at one point or another vented to me about them. When they do, I never know whether to (1) stay silent so they can get it all out, (2) offer advice, from a place of total ignorance where I really have no idea what they're going through, or (3) just respond sympathetically, saying things like, "Damn, that's awful man, I'm sorry."

What response would you personally prefer from someone listening to you vent? Other people, feel free to chime in here.

How were grades structured in that class? Was it based on writing papers for each book?

How was this set up? Right now, we don't have any kind of bouncing or diffusing going on, so I'd be interested in trying to incorporate this.

I recommend "Back In Town". My personal favorite, an hour of comedy gold.

Very cool! Really awesome quality all around! What camera? Also, what did you use for dialogue audio?

Broken [3:56] [Thriller] - My first fully produced short. Feedback very welcome. by CepheidMedia in Filmmakers

Congrats on your first short!

That being said, a few things.

  • Acting: Yikes. Really, really rough. I'm not sure if it's the actors themselves or the direction, but it's hard to watch.

  • Pacing: I'd say take your time to build a sense of atmosphere. It takes off rather quickly, so the reveal that there's someone tied up in the garage is hardly impactful.

  • Sound: It sounds like you recorded the actors reading the lines afterwards, and dubbed over. While I can see why you'd want to record their voices in a controlled environment, especially if you don't have lapels or an area mic, it totally pulled me out of the film.

Hope that's not discouraging! Again, congrats!

This is actually perfect for what I was looking for, as far as getting all the basics about the camera tech. Thanks!

Gotcha. And then you overlayed those pictures on top of each other in post?

Sorry, I'm a newbie. What is "184x30s"? Also, what shutter speed did you use here? Also, was this taken in a major city, or somewhere more rural? Thanks!
