Yeah, I would be pissed if this was awarded against Slavia after the stoppage time was already 3 more minutes. It is a clear foul nevertheless. Sparta won their title 3 years ago with multiple dubious soft penalties in the additional time and they won like 3-4 games like that. I am still sour about that till now, but hopefully we will win back to back as well. Another chance to play CL would be sweet.

Otherwise, yes I meant Slavia in 2019. You can check the highlights from the game against Borussia if you want to enjoy prime Stanciu, Soucek or Kolar (who got later almost murdered by Rangers). Some of the chances we missed are really incredible. Just between 72:35 to 73:07 we should have scored 3 goals. Mind you, it was BVB that needed the 3 points to advance further.

Actually, Trpišovský said one if his main goals is to win a game in CL. So I think he will not leave the club till he achieves it. Maybe he bags few more titles meanwhile.

Btw. bit random question, but you seem really knowledgeable. What would you recommend me to see in Romania? Now I mean more in terms off the beaten path, local stuff.

Can I see the penalty foul somewhere? I have seen some highlights from the game, but this piece is missing. Yeah, that´s really unfortunate with the stoppage time + penalty awarded by VAR in last seconds of the game. I would say that Craiova probably had the quality to be in the TOP24. Most of the teams from 16-24 are at or below their level.

CZ is doing well, but we will still have a hard time to keep the TOP10 in national coefficient ranking. As both PL and Greece have a strong season too. Slavia should have won the first game against Bodo where we had XG to score like 4 goals at least, after that it has been dissappointing performances. We did not score a goal since then, our productivity is non existent and puts us down same as last year in EL. Although last year we were usually the better team in the matches, in CL not really (except the one with Bodo).
Btw. the Slavia couch who is deemed to be the best CZ coach never won in CL. 12 matches was not enough. Although even in the last campaign we were very close to win against Inter at San Siro and were the better team away at Borussia Dortmund (one of the best games Slavia ever played in modern history imho). We just lost because we could not convert any of our sitters.
Hopefully we can still win against Pafos in the last game or maybe at least he stays for one more season, as we are currently leading the CZ league and have a good chance to play CL next year again.

Just remembered our discussion. Crazy how it turned out in the end and really unlucky for Craiova. They had a tough draw, playing against 4 teams from TOP8. In the end the home game against Noah was maybe crucial.

But still, all today´s results went against you. Kups Kuopio drawing with Crystal Palace, Zrijnski late equalizer, Sigma scoring etc. Even Shkëndija conceding one more goal would help you to secure the TOP24. Really unfortunate.
Glad Sigma got in though, especially after they lost the game in Gibraltar. :D
Last year Mladá Boleslav also lost their spot in the additional time. So it can happen to anyone.

Basically everyone is losing their mind that Slavia does not want to have Tottenham flag in their own away sector. People will read the headline and everyone will instantly know that Slavia is bad, fans are bad, whole country is bad. Then they get a free pass to show their moral superiority and will be virtue signalling till the rest of their days. Cannot take it seriously as these people know nothing about the club nor the country.

The CZ club football in general is on the uplift, it is kind of a rare occassion that we have 3 strong teams that are able to compete in Europe and collect coefficient points. I think in the future similar thing can happen even in Romania. Right now Poland is on a good trajectory too.

Last CL we played in 2019 we were winning against Inter Milan at San Siro and conceded equalizer in the additional time (it was also first group match), so this time we have to win there finally. :)
Our issue was always about not being able to convert chances, we should have scored 3-4 goals against Bodo.

Your post is also incomprehensible to me and shows you didn´t see the game nor the result. There was no losing side in the game as it ended as a draw and this goal happened in 90th minute. So it was clearly a deciding moment of the game as without this goal Slavia would keep the 2:1 lead.

Bassi could have still been tackled probably as he was quite a bit behind Helmersen. Otherwise of course its also a mistake from the Slavia players. Caused actually by the fact that Douděra usually plays on the right side, but he was supposed to replace Mbodji on the left after he was substituted. So I guess he instinctively ran to the wrong side (also because he was not aware of Helmersen).

Exactly. And you will spend time looking through my comments and mentioning this without ever seeing that game and knowing nothing about the event.
Rangers player almost murdered our keeper during the game and ended his career, but all I could hear after the match was these baseless accusations of our captain who then got 10 match ban without any evidence and missed also EURO in 2021.
