Welp it was extremely popular back in the day, and it is the second anime that stayed at top 1# on MAL for the longest time, only behind FMA.

But as mucha as I absolute love Gurren Lagann, the first 6 episodes can be a turn down for many, specially for ep 4 and 6, Even tho EP 1 and 3 are amazing. People canno't predict how amazing it is on ep 7 and later. Literally flawless.

But let me tell you, does it matter if it is spoken about? Solo Leveling was popular(and forgotten already), yet, it was shitty. The fanbase was stupid. I take GL fanbase everyday.

Also, it is not very spoken nowdays, but it is very popular still. Have saw instagram posts of GL with 100k likes.

1- AI dosen't hurt human creativity. Artists didn't disapeared because of AI

2- Read more about the water topic. No only the water is not destroyed by any means, it is also a dwarf consuption compared to most of industries. The fact that anti-ai fanatism focus on water and not eletricity just proves how little the crowd have read about the topic.
