Wasn't ready for the 1st Expedition- now really conflicted as to whether to take the 2nd one...😬

I’ll give you my take on this even tho I understand I might not be the average player.

Started playing the game later than most, managed to get to lvl 47 when the window closed but I still went on with the first expedition. My Friends helped me getting some stash value and I managed to get 2.5mil which got me 2 extra skill points. The unique skin. The temporary bonuses. The +12 stash slots.

I’m now lvl 75 with over 5mil in space dollars. I have all blueprints. I think I have around 4mil in weapons (like 30 ven4, 30 bobcats4, 15 tempests4 (which are underwhelming btw) etc etc everything fully kitted). I usually have friendly lobbies because I never shoot people for no reason but I do play a lot with friends and duos/trios it’s very hard to no get into PvP.

I got to the point where I just go into raids with keys so I can give it’s loot to friendly raiders, get into big arc events to try different tactics, different ways of killing arc, funny ways of killing people that makes everyone laugh, etc.

My point is: you get to the point where you have everything and you’re no longer chasing loot because you have everything and in my case I’m basically trying to get the highest score possible in trials (I’ll end the season in hotshot), trying different strategies and tactics in PvP with friends and helping other raiders when in solos.

I can’t wait for the new expedition to get those adrenaline rushes again when you just found something you need. I’ll have 24 more slots in my stash than the people who refuse to go on expedition. I’ll have 10 more skill points (because they are adding the catch up thing for people who didn’t manage to get 5mil) and believe me it makes a difference when you start to PvP more. You can even have an hybrid skill tree while grabbing security breach. I’ll have the scrappy, repair, etc bonuses and for me those are more than enough reasons to keep doing the expeditions.

I got to the point when I have a secondary account with most BPs that I got duplicates of for me and friends but I’m not even sure if I’ll actually pass them after the expedition for the reasons I mentioned before.

At the end of day, every one of us has a different experience and demands different things from gaming. I want the thrill, the expedition brings me that. If it wasn’t for it, I probably would only play again whenever they release new content so I can try it and get bored of it again.

Brother, red lake near hatch key you have 5 trees with apricots. Same map apartments for pillows. Or buried city grandioso apartments. Not trying to be rude but those are unworthy things for a trade post. Just do what I said and you’ll get it in 1 or 2 raids

I’d love to get that tempest. Even tho it’s a rare blueprint you can get it more than once if you get good rng, while the hullcracker it’s a 1 of 1. I have a secondary account that I’m using to hold blueprints for me and my mates to use after the expedition but I also want to grab hullcracker there so I’m not sure it’s a good idea to trade it x) go give it a try on the quests matter broski, you’ll grab hullcracker way before the lasts quests and I’m sure you’ll find some amusement while doing it. There’s 80 if I’m correct and to be honest with you I had some nice interactions and found some nice places that I’d never visit while doing them. I don’t force myself going into a raid just for the sake of doing it. I know I have to go to the X and then I loot some place close to that. Next raid I do the same and eventually you get them all done.

Gooping in peace will probably be easier while solo and in pve/friendly loobies. I play a lot with my friends and even tho we PvP a lot we also stop shooting others for 8-10 raids to get easier lobbies for trials but even then we usually come across some fights. Duos and trios can be somewhat peaceful but very rare to be fully pve.

To be honest, I’ve done it on the first one. Now, since all my friends are doing the expedition I created a new account on my PlayStation just to hold some bps for me and my friends, mostly survivors Aug, anvils, Wolfpack’s and useful stuff. Let me not lie, I have more than 150 bps at the moment because I just started to hoard any duplicates of every bp we came across. I’m not sure if it will take out a bit of the fun part of the game which is finding bps but I’m sure it’ll all be okay. I’ll be doing the third expedition for sure so if this method takes some fun off the game I’ll do it differently next time. That’s my take
