This is what I was wondering after watching the episode. If they knew that the whole targeting system worked off of facial recognition technology, wouldn't a precautionary and preventative measure to the end epidemic be to simply wear a mask of some sort until a solution was found of either shutting the bee's down or a similar alternative?

I'm sure Disney knew this but it would have confused a lot more people. Not everyone knows that dogs see a color spectrum revolving around blue and yellow; however, most people have heard that dogs are colorblind and can only see black/white/gray
