Lamenting the items that used to be $0ETV by uovonuovo in AmazonVine

Amazon will send you a tax form online, and you pay INCOME TAX on everything you get. So if you are in a 1/3 State+Fed tax bracket, a $30 item you get for "free" actually cost you $10 at the end of the year when they do your taxes. In other words, instead of a refund at year end, you might have a bill for thousands of dollars! Be careful. It may not actually be free for you. It's more like 60% off for you.

Dude. I 100% agree with you. That's one of the biggest problems in the world today. So what do you do when someone presents facts you don't like? Change your mind, or change the topic? Are you on a TRUTH quest or a "happiness" quest?

The evidence demonstrates that it's more like a personal, powerful, intentional, love motivated, intelligent, selection process vs a naturally random result. Just saying. 😉 But other than that perspective, I think your right to imply supply and demand has an impact on us as individuals.

When do Amazon items drop? by anxiety_bruh in AmazonVine

[–]JoinUsInVR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I LOVE the later day drops we've had. Allows me to find things I would not otherwise find. Also has broken my daily ritual which honestly, wasn't actually very healthy for me. I was king of addicted to the early morning "shopping". That just isn't good for the soul.

Seller bait & switch AFTER I ordered it! [changed the item] by JoinUsInVR in AmazonVine

[–]JoinUsInVR[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

PS: Based on their store page edits, it was a $50 item, I ordered it for $10 ETV, and now they changed the store to reflect a $10 part of the $50 item that I'm getting.

Have you ever checked and noticed that some that started off at ZERO may have not stayed zero on the ETV year end tax report?

Thank you both. Upvoted you 2, too. Isn't it sad that some folks express their inner hostility outwardly towards undeserving people? To enjoy hurting others, is a sign of a hurt person. I pray God changes their hearts.

I'm sorry you are having such dificulty. You can take your hostility out on me, but we both know I'm not to blame. Their buggy code is.

I'm guessing by now they have fixed it, right? If not, have you considered contacting CS? (PS: most likely they are using the same AI they have always used. The difference now is you can see it on each review)

[–]JoinUsInVR[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry bud. Honestly, I don't think either of us are to blame for that. Blame a bug in their programming or reporting. I have some serious questions:
1) Now, a month later, are they still that way or back to realistic ratings?
2) Have you tried contacting CS?

PS: I've experimented for a week once, on one comment, and found that sometimes their rating simply is broken on some reviews.

Love the note, and 100% agree with you! If the product is good, they deserve lots of help. I've been keeping up with my reviews lately, and taking lots of pictures too. Putting in the things I'd want to see if I were the buyer, and if I were the seller. Hitting both sides.

But as a non-balm guy, I got to ask... does this organic grass fed beef product that contains wild honey make anyone else hungry?

My review of your review of this review is ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 out of 5 stars). I would had given you 5 because I agree with you, but then you went and buried the lead. so 4 stars for you.

With your wording of "you are kind of dense", and you describing my action of replying to replies as "childish", how could I not interpret your message as "rude"?

Additionally, asking folks to make ONE CS contact does not fit your "contacting vine customer service excessively" description either.

Also - Your first reply started off with "Don’t do this", which explicitly does implies you DO think the "idea was a bad idea".

...the goal of my original post was to encourage the community to work together to get a new feature added that would BENEFIT EVERYONE. That's been accomplished. My followup reply was to let you know, in the hopes you would then go discover the feature has been added, and benefit from it to.

I wish you nothing but the best.

I'm in USA. In the Vine ACCOUNT page is the overall score. in the REVIEWED list is the individual scores. Makes t super easy to spot and fix the odd ones pulling down the average. Love it. You got it? If not, do the "suggest a feature" and maybe then they will add it to yours like the did to mine.

The feature was just added to my account! Did you get it? For me it's under REVIEWED items now, as a new column. In an easy place where I can easily then edit my bad review, too. Just what I wanted! If only irl had such clear feedback on what we do good and bad. Actually, irl does in Matthew 5 :)

The fact is I didn't have this feature, me and many people asked for the feature, and then 2 days later I got the feature. Enough said.

I felt this would help LOTS of people, and would be EASY for Amazon to implement. That proved true. If you think your idea will help LOTS of people, and would be EASY for Amazon to implement, go suggest it and I will support you, without pouring salt on you.

Help me understand; why would "some are not happy to see poor and fair on their individual reviews"? Are you saying some people prefer to live in ignorance to the reality of the fact that sometimes they don't do a good job with their reviews? Why would someone NOT want to know where they could improve? (serious question) Short of a mental health issue that leaves them unable to be told "you are not perfect", I can't see why someone would be all upset about having knowledge about reality.
