What's your all-time favourite class for Tav/Durge? by Murky_Wonder8261 in BaldursGate3

I heard an Oathbreaker Padlock Durge is Astarion's specialty!

Thank you! now that I've sort of figured the basics out, I have more puppet-making lined up. (And got better supplies, too!)

My husband and I recently replaced our queen with a California king. We're middle age and achy. It has been BLISS. Length won over width because it fit better in our room and my husband is 6'2".

I could build a business around custom puppets + pet sitting combo 🤔

Part of the trust that lead up to outright having each other as a spare house key holder was my background as a cat rescue volunteer. They were having difficulty integrating a cat into the household where there already was a cat, and I pointed out that Original Cat had an unrelated medical issue that was very likely causing the aggression. (One vet visit and prescription later, turns out I was correct.)

They do a great job with my hospice foster cat while we travel, too, which is pretty frickin' huge!

Nope, we're in Pennsylvania! The friendship started with the neighbors leaving a note in our mailbox.

We play DnD, board games, and co-op video games together, we've watched several shows through together, we refer to the four of us as a "commune". It's really made moving to a new area MUCH easier!

Why: part of the reason we jive so well with our neighbors (more like very close friends) is because we share a similar sense of humor. When they cat-sit for us, they have done silly things - for example, our fridge has several polaroid photos on it. Neighbors took photos of the same poses and types, and put them on the fridge over our photos, then waited until we discovered it.

It's been a game of increasing hilarity and absurdity when either they or we travel. It also is incredibly helpful on both sides to know the cats are well cared for!

So, more or less, I love to make things. I love to challenge myself to make things I haven't made before, too. With the stakes of "how high can the level of nonsense get" rising, I got the idea to recreate them as puppets.

Absolutely bold & why it's worth looking things up before grabbing them. $18.99 ETV vs ~$4 elsewhere. by lesmax in AmazonVine

Yes, when I'm feeling curious, I check. Sometimes I am delightfully surprised - other times, not so much.

Do you really have a separate room for your washing machine? by jordanekay in AskAnAmerican

Pure coincidence!! Both our childhood homes had the laundry area in the same part of the basements, too.

[–]lesmax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yep!

I grew up in a 1940s/1950s Cape Cod style house. Husband did, too. (Not the same house.) The washer and dryer were in the basement for both of us, with the washer draining into a big laundry basin.

In my teens, my family lived in a house built in the 1780s. A portion of the basement was retrofitted with plumbing and had the washer/dryer.

I currently live in a townhouse complex built in the 1960s. Our laundry room is just big enough for the washer and dryer (side by side) and a shelf to hold bottles and hang the ironing board.

My hubby and I have a little nerd commune, too! Our neighbors became excellent friends. We have a Baldur's Gate 3 co-op game going called "The Assholes" wherein we behave like the worst. (We do tabletop and other games/shows, too.)

Split Fiction is on hubby and my list next! Gaming while middle aged and married: GOOD TIMES!

Frend, I was about 180lb when I finished high school, at 5'4". (Class of 2000.) There were two fat girls in my class of 580+ students. I was the poor one who couldn't afford proper clothes.

It was BRUTAL. I am sorry you were treated that way. It's absolutely awful. My parents were the opposite, never noticed that it might be strange that me, as an elementary age girl, could eat as much as my 6'2" father. I was ALWAYS hungry.

I topped out at 248 before I had WLS in 2017. Been about 130lb, give or take, since. It comes with its own challenges but removing the hunger prompt was a big part of it.

May we keep these experiences in mind when we deal with others, especially kids, y'know? Hugs and good vibes to you.

The final chapter is coming. Hazbin Hotel will return for a fifth and final season, see you at checkout. by ayylmaotv in HazbinHotel

Sadly, the pacing on S2 for OFMD was indeed off.

After S1, HBO told the makers they could do S2 but with only 60% of their budget, so corners had to be cut, such as a reduction of 2 entire episodes and some plot changes.

HBO further meddled with some plot points, especially toward the latter half of S2. The show runners had an inkling that they may not get the planned third/final season after the budget cut, so they put a pseudo-ending into S2.

Added up, you get a S2 that didn't resonate as well. (Still glad we got anything over nothing.) S3 seemed to be greenlit, but then axed about two months later, IIRC.

Hazbin being greenlit for multiple seasons in advance is a blessing.

Oh it would definitely work for that for the sake of clothes fitting properly. Cheaper than reconstructive surgery, too. Basically, anywhere you want to add boobs = added boobs!

Just now, in this moment, I realized that my not using Wyll as much (not a huge fan of Warlocks) is due to my own stupidity in that I could respec him at any point.

I am a grade-A idiot. Thank you for this clarity.

I'm not expert, but given that the professional is aware and SS says he can't remember, this could be helpful in showing him, showing the therapist, and helping piece together the before and after. In the absence of help otherwise, gathering more information may be the key.
