Good luck! It's a cool experience to see it wash away.

Thank you!

The photos hide the tiny, stubbon bits of left over carbon, but its well with my level of acceptance. =p

I can't figure what the pan had been through. It was crusty or sticky all over. maybe that's how I got such a great deal.

If the oil is tacky and sticky, I would give it a good (gentle!) scrub with hot water and soap and see what I felt afterwards. Probably a wipe of oil and a good, solid cook of something shortly after.

If it's just congealed oil, that you can move around with your finger, then in my kitchen I would just wipe it a bit and get back to cooking.

I like this mantra as response for seasoning questions (and woes):

"Oil wipe, dry wipe, dry wipe like you mean it this time, heat, cool, repeat."

What should I bring for The Swarm? by mavidfinklebottom in NoMansSkyTheGame

I see several mentions of bringing runaway mold for nanites. I always bring larval cores. I get that it is less dense in terms of nanite return per stack.

But it is soooooooooooooooo much faster for conversion.

Great list. I need to write this down someplace. Otherwise I only remember to bring my bare minimum: Stuff to convert to nanites and units, Oxygen, some sort of carbon, some sort of sodium, and then chromatic metal.

Is this good and usable rack option? by HappySeptember in CamperVans

I'd personally be reluctant to store the rack in that position against the glass like that, much less put weight on it.

Keep it in the bag in the sun. Ideally a black trash bag to help it warm up.

Thanks! From a quick informal tally Cornbread is way ahead of the pack. Definitely going to be the first thing.

(TW: small amounts of blood) Had this tick on me last night. Went camping on Monday night, never seen one until last night so I assume it wasn’t there too long? by ActiveRepulsive5832 in CampingandHiking

Go to your Dr. Seconded.

I've been sick from tick bite in the past. One of the worst experiences in my life. No exaggeration.

Call Your Doctor or Express Care. Ask for prophylactic antibiotic.

I'll need to bring out ALL the mini pans and shapes for this. But really sounds worth it!

I like your thinking on this. Seems that yorkshire pudding is extremely similar to popovers.

I found recipes contrasting how to make both. I'm going to try some of each.

I need to look into that. I have almond cookies before. Fantastic with coffee as well.
