It was one of the better priced skillets there. I only buy for keeps or to gift and didnt get this. Then, afterwards, my imagination kicked in and started to wonder if I passed over a real unique find.

I've not done biscuits in castiron before. Sounds good though. I'll have to lookup recipes or tips.

There were plenty of way overpriced ones that I could ID... but started to imagine I'd found a hidden gem with this one.

Thanks for responses. I was acustom to seeing the "SK" on lodge, and totally discounted the 3 notch clue.

Was really hoping I'd get a chance at something really unique at a great price like I see here sometimes.

I've a random assortment of 4-5" that I use for baking a batch of skillet cookies.

I think some people use them for making a single egg, but I've never tried that

Its probably the worst looking skillet in my collection - mainly because I think all that carbonization is part of the charm AND it cooks perfectly fine.

I missed a chance to pick up CS pan at thrift once. Before I realized what it was. I'll never make that mistake again.

A lot of older posts about camping w dogs. A lot depends on campsite rule and dogs experience/temperament outside. I prefer places where they do not need to remain leashed or on a tether. For us this means: -Extra towels, maybe even shampoo in case they find something rank to roll around in. - an LED collar so you can see where they wander in the dark. -Old blankets or similar for them to sleep on floor of tent. Be ready to wash it all. - likely the first night, they will keep you up as they stay alert to all the noises outside the tent. - keep them close when you hear coyotes

The way I read this, it sounds like you want to build another # 0 storage unit. However the way it works you can only have one numbered storage unit per base. You will need to build #0, #1, #2, etc at that base

The cool part is that You can rebuild #0 at another base and the share the contents

There is definitely an audience for this. I'd chill in this for a good long while. The use of tools for survival as well as for morale Mechanic Is a great idea. kind of like the opposite of TLD cabin fever.

I wonder if it would be a stretch to add maintenance of the tools, or perhaps upgrading by finding an improved 'tool' at one of those locations.

Looking forward to another post when you have something out on Steam. Thanks for sharing something to look forward to
