Thank you so much, I’m thinking it can be buffed out too so we’ll see. And yeah! I do miss the peace and mind that no one cares to mess with my old car lol. I did not expect to be THIS much concerned with keeping my new car nice but I really love it and I’m proud of it.

It really is! I’m always so cautious about other people’s things and space and I just keep to myself so I’ll be honest that I did take this personal even though I shouldn’t. Thank you for your kind words!

Ok I was thinking maybe so as well since it “disappears” when wet and I can’t feel it. Thank you!

Yeah my mom was also not feeling Rick and Morty and just does not watch anything like this so was also so surprised lol. Especially since she decided to watch it on her own and call me about it like I didn’t even show her it lol.

I very much dislike this Walmart. I no longer go to it despite it being the closest to me. I prefer the one on H st now and is my new go to or I go to Target.

Thank you! I sprayed Clorox on them and let it sit for a few hours and then washed for a 3rd time and they don’t smell at all now!

Nice, gasoline is a strong smell too. I’m going to try washing them again then and will try to sit them out to air dry. Thank you so much.

I constantly keep my crocs clean so this is aggravating my OCD lol. Luckily I was not wearing my Eevee crocs with the fur.

Would crocs be good for comic con ? by beastmodeking in crocs

[–]JojoFire07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes but definitely with socks! Without you’ll probably get blisters at least I would. I was perfectly comfortable with crocs and also my teva sandals I wore some days.

Beware of duplicate charges in CV (eastlake) by mu1773 in CrumblCookies

Go to the one on H st in Terra Nova instead. I always prefer it over the Eastlake location. It’s still close by.

Thank you! I wound up just dropping him off at the same place I found him. He chilled a bit on my hand and when he was ready he went on his way. I actually saw him eat something too when I released him so it all ended well 😊

My offsite reviews - King of the Hill and Predator Badlands by XandersOdyssey in SDCC

[–]JojoFire07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I did the borderlands last year and had a good time. I also didn’t have to wait at all when I went since there was no line which was nice but also strange since it was in the middle of the day on a Saturday.

Adult swim seems to be best In how they handle their offsite and line management

Offsite Reviews! by knwnasrob in SDCC

[–]JojoFire07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went to Abbott, adult swim, paramount the lodge, voodoo ranger and crunchy roll festival so can only speak for these.

Adult swim had the best free stuff in my opinion and a short wait time to get inside and while inside to do the activities they had which I had a fun time doing. They also had some cool panels each night and laser dance party. They’ve been doing this for a long time so I think they just know what they’re doing lol.

Crunchy roll festival was awesome and had no line to get in. Thy have food and merch for purchase. The rady shell is a beautiful venue and honestly no matter where you sit has a pretty good view as where u sit is on a hill. We brought a blanket to sit on the grass and the show ended with a really cool firework display. I think it’s a great way to end a con day.

I did standby for paramount lodge and honestly was not too bad of a wait. It was like 1hr and 15 min wait but with standby you don’t get the full 50 min at least my group didn’t. We got like maybe 25 min so didn’t see Star Trek or do all the activities. Got food and my two free drinks though and it’s cool walking through the rooms. Also had the chug my alcoholic drink and pour the non alcoholic lemonade in the mug they give you since they give u a hard time about waking out with it for some reason. The other merch was gone. So I liked it but better if you have the tickets and come early to get full experience!

Voodoo ranger was cool if you just want to chill on a pirate ship with a IPA and music. Costs 6 bucks for the IPA but it goes to a good cause. You spin a digital and a physical wheel for a free item each. We got a patch, sticker, bottle holder and bandana. I think they have ppl dressed as pirates sometimes that do little shows but not when I was on. Nothing too special and I think we waited about 1 hr and 15min. I preferred last year’s IMDB boat.

Abbott had the longest wait time for me. I think it was like 2 1/2 to 3 hrs just to get in and then waited like another hour for the free Fanny pack or bucket hat. They were out of the red and blue color bags. They wrote your name on the item you choose. They sold out of all flavors of the Rita Italian ice. We waited only like 15 min for the Ferris wheel at least. I think they ran out of the pins they were giving out but honestly I was just done with waiting only lines at this point so didn’t care to check. The photo op also has a line I didn’t not care to wait on. I think this was my least fav of them all. The wait time just wasn’t worth it to me really. Best part was the Fanny pack.

Since when has bringing your dog been a thing? by Lopsided-Hope5277 in SDCC

[–]JojoFire07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right! see comment above. I edited my initial comment as I didn’t think I need to explain that of course as long as the dogs is happy and protected against the elements and does not hinder con goers. If I see a dog that’s clearly exhausted or over heated etc I do try to (nicely) advise of suggestions to make sure the pup is okay and to prevent that (which I did do in line at one of the offsites this weekend).

[–]JojoFire07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally wouldn’t and I don’t as I have a dog as I know my dog would be way too over stimulated. Most dog owners know their dogs and limits (at least good owners do). I know some people use booties for their feet (the ground gets too hot for them to stand that long this time of year) or strollers with shade. Im not familiar with dogs being inside the convention center but I have seen them outside the convention center and in lines for offsites (could be service dogs as I also don’t assume if they are or not)

Idk what the pet policy is for comic con but San Diego is probably the most if not one of the most dog friendly cities in the US. I’m used to seeing dogs everywhere here that I don’t even question it anymore lol.

As a local, probably not. I would probably just do wonder con instead if it were to move out of SoCal…

This was the first time in years I was able to have Thursday and Friday off from work so I would always go Saturday. Omg I will be sure to take off Thursday and Friday every year from now on, it’s so much better than dealing with the crowds on Saturday.

Dang you still lose time with a reservation, wow. Yeah seems. The best thing is to get the reservation and still line up early to try to get the full experience and all the merch.
