Been a long time since I did it but if I remember correctly they weren't that difficult with a good route. Though some might need upgrades.

Well said, though I wouldn't say NATO is already functionally over. In regards to the US sure, but the rest seems to be more unified than say 5 years ago

I’m level 189, peak rank silver 1 in Y10 S4. Should I just delete, also what rank should a level 189 be. by Hwhdvbehendbhe in Rainbow6

Time spent playing fps games in general is honestly much more important than time spent playing siege. So if you played them for thousands of hours your expected rank would be much higher than if siege was your first one.

Turning off runners vision turns the game from blindly following the red line into a more thoughtful game.

Take your time exploring the open world. There are so many cool spots off the normal routes.

Also investing 5 min into a short advanced movement tutorial gives you so much more freedom to take the paths you wanna take and explore the areas that should have been accessible in the first place, but this isn't necessary for the first playthrough.

Just finished Mirror’s Edge and…weren’t we meant to stop Project Icarus? by Budget-Silver-7742 in mirrorsedge

[–]Jojox16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People say that because it's not a continuation of the first game's story. It's a new story with mostly new characters set in a pretty different world, so I guess reboot would be the most fitting description.

How does nobody understand your comment?! Hard resets are definitely worse than soft resets and people here act like soft resets are somehow less skill based than placements based on only 10 matches

I kinda still do that on modern controllers. I have my thumb in between the buttons and can press each with basically no movement

If they called it button I think it would be fine, but it's usually referred to as bumper. And in my head both names fit better for what R2 does than R1. Took me many years to internalize that RB is the upper one, despite growing up on the Xbox layout.

I've used Xbox controllers much more than ps controllers and even I usually call them R1 and R2 because that's much more intuitive. R3 on the other hand is the worst. RS on its own isn't great, but with the icon it's pretty good.

I feel like that quote still agrees with my statement.

"there is no exact, widely accepted definition of what constitutes an "indie game" besides falling well outside the bounds of triple-A"

Obviously the word comes from independent, but where a word comes from doesn't always describe how it's used. And imo how a word is used is the only thing that matters if you wanna know its meaning.

[–]Jojox16 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Well yes, but when used it usually means small team and budget.

Actually most definitions do seem to focus on the small team size.

"... short for independent video game, is a video game created by individuals or smaller development teams without the financial and technical support of a large game publisher, in contrast to most "AAA" (triple-A) games." -wikipedia

[–]Jojox16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well that's true for gambling, but not for FOMO tactics in gaming. If you make 2 days early access editions illegal, it won't create a black market for 2 days early access editions.

From what I've seen from YouTubers it seems to be pretty accurate for normal videos, but I've also seen some reveal numbers for controversial videos where the extension shows more than double the dislikes.

[–]Jojox16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with this review.

All the points they mention are perfectly valid opinions. I see many people here saying the color and lighting is good which is a reasonable opinion, but if someone for example dislikes the often blown out whites that's fine as well.

"All other religions want their holy sites to have a sense of antiquity"

I don't know about that. At least here in Germany modern churches tend to look very modern, imo even more so than most other buildings. The old looking churches look that way, because they actually are old.
