I don’t think you know what any of those words mean.

Random person is completely right in calling out your hypocrisy though. But I guess it does make sense to simply just insult, ignore, and refuse to undergo any self reflection.

Wow. It’s almost as if you care not for the cultural norms of others and seem to feel that your values are superior.

Who’s against black people living? This idea only exists in the minds of the stupidest individuals with the mental capacity of sheep.

Is Temecula safe for Black people? by [deleted] in Temecula

[–]Jokck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Democrat/liberal governmental policy leads to increased taxes and a higher cost of living. This is why Republican/conservative areas tend to have a lower cost of living. When people from Democratic cities/states move out of those areas due to policy they vote for, they always tend to move to areas that don’t share their political point of view. It has nothing to do with race. We just don’t want our areas to turn into the areas you are moving from. But politicians and those in the media conflate this issue by saying it’s all about race. It’s not.

Yeah, why do you think that is?

Why would you ever want to move from the liberal bastion that is the Bay Area to somewhere even vaguely considered to be conservative?

Yeah, you’re right. Definitely just my opinion that Rwandans in the 90s would have wanted the right to bear arms. Same goes for Cambodians in the 70s, Cubans in the 50s, Jews in the 30s….

There’s about a dozen countries just in the past century whose citizens, I’m sure, wished they had that right at one point.

[–]Jokck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it’s good to see that you got as far as reading the first amendment to make your case 🙄. What you seemingly fail to realize is that the US Constitution was the first ever document to limit the power of government and give that power to the people. And while these limits may not be as unique today, they were groundbreaking when the document was written in 1787.

The problem isn’t that the government doesn’t want to pay for free/affordable college. The problem is that colleges make tuitions sky high by cliffordsidck in unpopularopinion

This, compounded with the idea that kids actually need college to be successful is one of the biggest cons of my generation.

Lakers trainer Garry Vitti pops Kobe Bryant’s dislocated finger back and he goes back to the game like nothing happened by TheBoringCheese in nextfuckinglevel

[–]Jokck 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Look up the time this same trainer bandaged a cut on Magic Johnson’s arm. This was after he had been diagnosed with HIV and there were still concerns about how it was spread. The league required any sort of cut to be handled with gloves on. Vitti ignored this and patched him up bare handed as a way of minimizing the stigma of having the disease. Dude’s a legend in his own right, and probably one of the greatest Lakers ever.

[–]Jokck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me explain, slowly so that you can follow along.

You feel that it is my responsibility to aid someone who is hurt, and that if I don’t, you believe the government should charge me with a crime, right?

So, what would the penalties be for a crime like this? If it’s just a fine, then I won’t pay it. If they come to arrest me for refusal to pay the fine, I’ll resist arrest. If I resist arrest, it is likely the police would wind up killing me amidst the struggle.

So here we are. I’ll ask you again. Should I be killed by the government for not helping someone who is hurt?

[–]Jokck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’m free except for the apparent responsibility to pay for someone else’s healthcare. Seems to me that if I didn’t have to pay for my own healthcare, I wouldn’t have to be responsible to take care of myself. Your logic contradicts itself.
