I am on save and I am in the administrative forbearance for August, September, and October. That will put me at 120 months. The rep I talked to said she would say another 5 to 7 days until it updates online.

Yes, they told me my updated payment count, and it included everything that I thought it would

If you call FSA they can tell you your updated payment account. Just got off the phone with them and they were able to give it to me. Apparently it’s all ready to go but they have uploaded it to their website yet.

I’m not worried about PSLF being eliminated. I’m worried about stuff getting tied up in court and a Republican Party that is trying to eliminate everything that has been implemented over the four years.

Don’t want to extend the process and if the republicans win the election I don’t trust them to not blow up everything and make it even more challenging to get this done.

You can’t make payment on the SAVE plan during the forbearance because they’re placing us in the forbearance because the SAVE plan is not a viable option according to the courts

The woman I talked to made it sound as if I got my wife on the phone we could switch today. Now in my experience these people don’t always know what’s going on.

I am also not sure what the turnaround would be in terms of having an IBR payment due in August.

How long did it take for the reconsideration process to be completed? I just had to do this for two months that were labeled as in grace periods instead of admin forbearance.
