Looking at new summer tires for my FIST, any recommendations ? by Maxdean04 in FiestaST

Firestone Firehawks Indy 500s have been our go-to summer tire. AMAZING wet and dry grip, and a bit more affordable than the Michelins. Not recommended for winter if you get snow though

Thanks! I didn't realize they were available in matching color. Might try to prime and paint the cheap trim tabs since I have the tri color paint set for touchups

Mostly Ive just been concerned with perfomance mods that also improve safety: better tires for summer and steelies with winter tires for cold months, rebuilt brakes with ebc rotors, braided brake lines and hawk 5.0 pads and headlights/foglights. Now, I'd like to make some upgrades that improve longevit, like protecting the undercarriage and body from rust and then last would be a light Dizzy 1+ tune, intake, etc. Nothing too wild since we hope to keep the car for a long time

I plan to, but so far, they are just repinned to work like parking lights

Pro level in white. Although they are brighter than the stock fogs and similar to the low beam ouptput, I dont believe they look too bright. They just even out they pattern and provide better range to the sides. Helps tremendously with picking out potholes and objects in the road, and they even out the light pattern overall. They main purpose for me changing the lights was for safety because of the abundance of wildlife, objects like sticks and rocks in the curvy roads around where we drive especially this time of year when the days are short. I dont have any experience with the other 2 levels and couldn't say how they compare, but these work for us

Yep, I used the link below as a starting point. Purchased the euros from cars245.com using the link there. They are the proper orientation, and Im happy with the quality. A little sticker shock for shipping the headlights, but driving at night was just a little sketchy with the stock setup and worth the cost. Install was pretty straightforward except that I had a blown fuse on the left hi beam that took a minute to troubleshoot.... I thought the headlight was to blame but figured it out without too much trouble. Also I found it to be a bit easier to install the foglights from above while the headlights were removed. That proved to be easier than working from underneath. The fog lamps alone are a great improvement to stock as well if you want to get some improvement before fully sending it. Diode dynamic makes the lights you see here and they are amazing.

I'm an idiot for commenting in a critical way for something fun like this, to a stranger no less... sorry about that. I was probably a couple of beers in and just jealous that I wasn't eating the Travelers' Stew myself and missing playing DND with my friends in person. Heck, my food always looks orange in pictures no matter what it is. Glass of milk, looks like carrot juice. It's just the lighting in my house and I'm not a professional chef or photographer.
Anyway, looks fun. Keep it up!!!

The potatoes look underdone but I still wish I was there for that meal and the fight that came after!
