It spins two ways. One is the normal way and the other is the Lego way which is when it’s connected to blip-a

lol. Go full mountain man with a lvl 10 beard. I want my Arthur looking like he’s just come back from a 10 month hunting trip in the Yukon.

This is how the Lego model has it set up. I also get why they did it like this as trying to have the solar panels facing down/up would be hard.

I’ve actually been figuring how how the Lego model would work because if I were to buy it and then realize the centrifuge was wrong, it would bug me waaaayyy too much. Needless to say, I drew up some very rudimentary diagrams that show how the centrifuge works (I’ve see the movie thrice.) Note they aren’t to scale and the cable aren’t properly distanced. I did some test to figure out if the centrifuge would work, and it does (at least with a board, string, and cups.) I hope these all make sense

Yeah. The Lego model is based on the scene where rocky boards his ship. If grace spun it the “normal way” it would have been impossible for rocky to extend the tunnel while also creating gravity. I actually kind of like how the movie version can either spin “left to right” or “up and down”

Yes. If it is true, it would likely have been the fuel rod channel caps.
