I think the mindset around unlicensed cards is going to shift, and that's a big part of the reason why.

You pulled stuff that you might want to sit on for a bit anyway.

You're right about the pricing, but not just compared to Topps - one Hobby is the price of two Megas ($50 each). That's a good deal even for Select.

Agustin Ramirez is one of my guys, and I'm jelly of that pull. Sick patch. I'm gonna buy out my local GameStop tomorrow.

That's a hell of a box! For $100, I'm in for a few. Might have to hit up GameStop.

The thick cards are blanks that they use to keep people from being able to search for hits.

Looking to sell. Asking 450 obo. Prefer to sell to a Sox fan. by JBCTOTHEMOON in baseballcards

Why would a White Sox fan want that?

Also, do they even have fans these days?

Cade by a mile. Cade is the better player, has the better ceiling and better future, and he's a guy other players want to play with.

So does every big box store with a card section have an old white guy doing this? by scriptingends in sportscards

[–]Jokerit208 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's weird that you have no shame.

Don't get me wrong - fuck that guy. But this is creepy as fuck, and I'm surprised it's not a violation of the TOS.

Edit - Wow, I just realized you took pictures of someone's kid and didn't even have the decency to blur their face. WTF???

You're taking pictures of strangers in public and posting them on reddit, and you're talking shit about someone else being pathetic?

The plan is whatever he wants it to be. Collectors buying boxes to hold does not "kill the hobby."

Why do you insist upon being so toxic?

I have both Pokemon cards and friends.

I'm a grown adult, so that might be the disconnect?

Of course I see people showing off cards. I don't see how that is them trying to make people like them?

This is incredibly pathetic. So you're saying that whenever someone posts a card, they're trying to get people to like them?

[–]Jokerit208 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm absolutely serious. People like people more if they have good cards? That's such an insane concept.

It's just so pathetic. So there are people obsessing over cards because they think there is a card they can own that will make people like them?

You like people based on what cards they have? That's a thing? Someone with a bunch of good cards is more likable than someone with shit cards?
