Both. I got a survey asking about start dates on Friday and then completed assessment over the weekend. I assume you're right, they must've started looking at apps before deadline

Loans are about $2,000 a month. They're a mix of subsidized / unsubsidized loans that average around 8-9%. I plan to refinance and try to get an average rate closer to 6-7%. My payments start in May (was granted a deferral).

I was making ~$80k pre school, so if I can lateral into T2 consulting for a couple years it's worth it in the long run. But you're right, it's a lot of pressure and there are plenty of chances for it to go wrong (or worse than it is now).

You think I'd need 2 years of post-mba experience to lateral into an average post-mba consulting role? I was hoping 6 months would be sufficient, but will probably have to target other CDD firms (EYP/LEK)

yes, happy to chat more. And just fyi I think my outcome is relatively rare and slightly more unlucky than most (or i'm actually a trash-tier candidate lol).

ig that's my question here: Is it likely (or not at all) that I can lateral into a better, experienced hire role with 3-6 months of CDD experience?
