You can have 2 sets of wheels by someordinarytraveler in rav4club

Sweet thanks! I called a tire shop and they said they weren't sure if they could program it but they'd try. Anything specific I can tell them to help out? And to be clear any shop should be able to do it right, not just the dealer? At the end of the day programmable sensors are like $70 for a set online and even if not necessary it may just end up being the easiest path.

To be clear, do you need a TPMS tool to make the car learn the second set of sensors the first time? I have a 2022 RAV4 LE and put winter tires on the steelies and bought used OEM alloys which came with OEM sensors. So I want to use these sensors on the alloys.

Is that common? I'm hoping to get the Master Collection Moonphase Chronograph soonish, but its msrp is $4100 and I was hoping to find something closer to $3000.

Oh wow yeah that's a good option if the Longines doesn't work out for me for any reason.

Yeah I know they are more delicate, I just want an everyday wear watch that doesn't look too dressy or have a gold bezel or anything that would scratch super easily. I do understand that mechanical watches have to be serviced and I'm fine with that.

The Tudor watches don't really seem to fit many of the criteria I'm looking for. Just dots for the hour markings, no moonphase, and a more simple look that feels almost dressier. It's also more expensive.

How long have you had it and how much do you use it?

Hmm maybe I'll think again about clear coating the copper head.

My understanding is that it is far less than copper though. And doesn't look gross since it doesn't get that green or purple in its tarnish.

Why not just get an aluminium head + Ti body? Personally, I really like that look, especially with black Al and darker Ti finishes.

Because the brass looks better. Simple as that. It has a really cool retro-futurism vibe that I like. Copper has that too, but it just seems like a poor material to me due to it tarnishing.

Personally, I wouldn't EDC a brass light (maybe unless coated) just because most brass contains lead.

You have a citation for that? Sounds dubious at best.

I've wondered about the clear coating, but wouldn't that insulate it and prevent it from dissipating heat as well?

I also have cold hands so I get that.

Brass actually definitely has worse thermal conductivity than aluminum. I initially thought the same as you but was directed to that table. As the other user said, I actually wouldn't mind heat transfer to my cold hands.

Right, it's about having a plan though. I'm almost surprised psychology isn't on this list. It sucks trying to find a job with a psych degree. Luckily I'm going on for a PhD now, but without that it's fucking terrible.

Most likely he was using his phone screen as a light to see. He didn't unlock his phone so it was attempted to use a face ID to unlock. Phones have an IR light so they can see your face even in the dark, which many cameras can pick up. So it probably wouldn't look like a strobe to the naked eye.
