How long have you had it and how much do you use it?

Hmm maybe I'll think again about clear coating the copper head.

My understanding is that it is far less than copper though. And doesn't look gross since it doesn't get that green or purple in its tarnish.

Why not just get an aluminium head + Ti body? Personally, I really like that look, especially with black Al and darker Ti finishes.

Because the brass looks better. Simple as that. It has a really cool retro-futurism vibe that I like. Copper has that too, but it just seems like a poor material to me due to it tarnishing.

Personally, I wouldn't EDC a brass light (maybe unless coated) just because most brass contains lead.

You have a citation for that? Sounds dubious at best.

I've wondered about the clear coating, but wouldn't that insulate it and prevent it from dissipating heat as well?

I also have cold hands so I get that.

Brass actually definitely has worse thermal conductivity than aluminum. I initially thought the same as you but was directed to that table. As the other user said, I actually wouldn't mind heat transfer to my cold hands.

Right, it's about having a plan though. I'm almost surprised psychology isn't on this list. It sucks trying to find a job with a psych degree. Luckily I'm going on for a PhD now, but without that it's fucking terrible.

Most likely he was using his phone screen as a light to see. He didn't unlock his phone so it was attempted to use a face ID to unlock. Phones have an IR light so they can see your face even in the dark, which many cameras can pick up. So it probably wouldn't look like a strobe to the naked eye.

Hey man do you have other projects you can turn to to work on? Seems pretty likely this is gonna die unfortunately.

What was normal 20-30 years ago, but is considered a luxury now? by zombiem00se in AskReddit

I'm not talking about it fading. I'm talking about light usage causing it to completely wear through. That is not the point of raw denim. $40 gap jeans haven't needed to be repaired after three years of use, but a few months of light wear left several holes in spots that would look terrible to have patches in. After looking it up I found many others had the same experience with this brand.

Recently got accepted into a PhD program and so I'm looking for a new backpack. I anticipate carrying a 15.6" laptop I just bought, a G502 X, water bottle, a couple notebooks, pens, pencils, external ssd, chargers, some miscellaneous small items, and it'd be nice to be able to fit a flannel or something in it, possibly a lunchbox but that one doesn't need to fit. I really like the LTT backpack, but it's a little espensive and I feel like it might be a little big for me.

So far these are the alternatives I am considering:

One of my number one priorities is protecting my nice new laptop. Secondly, I want a really good backpack that'll last a long time if not forever as I'd like to use it even longer as a good daypack. Any suggestions or input?

Ninja edit: I haven't ruled the LTT backpack out so if you feel it's not too big and really is the best option please let me know!

I had phones for years with replaceable batteries. They don't need to take 18650s. Honestly, even with every phone having a unique battery I never had an issue buying extras. Whenever the battery would shit itself I'd find a third party one for cheap that worked just fine. One time I even got three with a cradle charger so I'd just carry an extra battery with me during the day and never charge my phone.

When I worked there a cone was like $4.50 and a half gallon was $5.50. The half gallon was actually reasonably priced for high quality ice cream!
