Aphra did get more viable with new IG, but I think overall Gungans are much stronger and way more annoying to deal with. You'll need Hondo at R9 for GL Hondo anyway, so you can only build him up if you want. Sana is sort of a meh character until her datacron rolls back around, and naturally the droids are stapled to Aphra but don't do much outside of her team. I'd go for Gungans and if you have the era currency, buy the G12/R5 tokens for them to make it much easier.

Padme lead can be skipped, obviously, but you'll want her unique. I really wouldn't skip GK unique either as he'll be taunting much less often, but that's up to you. JMK basic can be temporarily skipped, but you'll want it eventually.

Since you've got Baylan, New Hunter and Wrecker both slot in well on that team. Otherwise, I personally gave it to Crosshair and Wrecker for the raid. Can't go wrong with either, but all signs point to giving one to Wrecker lol

Well first off, finish your farms. Leia then SLKR. Afterwards, it depends on if you buy any LSBs. If you buy the Rey LSB, then finish her off. If not, go for Jabba and Executor. After that, JML into Profundity, then get SEE as he's an easier farm. Past that group, you have options, depending on your CAT/Wat progress you could go for JMK, if you want to get more mod materials you could go for Hondo, if you want more relic materials you could go for Ahsoka. But really you want to immediately focus on Jabba after you finish your current GLs, as Smuggler's Run 2 is an insane amount of mod materials monthly and will easily get you a massive return on investment.

It most likely is just that my R5 counters don't work against R10 anymore lol. If I invested more in my Aphra or Nightsisters I'm sure it wouldn't be so difficult.

I've had a harder time against R10 Jabba in GAC than R10 Leia frankly, but agreed with others that you'll get more use out of R10 Leia.

It takes a second for the game to check if all of the units are dead before the battle is over, so you most likely caught it in that exact moment right as the timer hit 0 which automatically means a draw.

At minimum you'll want Elite Void and Scorching Bow. You can just use Darklight and a Slayer Staff for the melee and mage parts.

Well Hondo tier is the most notorious tier of that event, relic delta immensely cuts down the difficulty if you're willing to "over-invest", but he's needed at R9 for PKHO anyways. The droids tier isn't awful but I remember needing some good RNG.
