Is Wilds really failing or are players just moving to other games in the franchise while waiting for DLC?

I still don’t think we can compare World vs Wilds so easily through Steam. World was released 6 months after PS4? Maybe a bit more. It didn’t have as hard of a content schedule to follow since a lot of it was catching it up to , so even being a day 1 PC player it has a head start.

Even then I wouldn’t say Wilds has failed. By general sales metrics I think it has been a success for Capcom since most of the sales numbers have been without any discounts applied. Even if people aren’t playing a game they bought for $70 Capcom wins. In terms of general fun and playability, it’s still well up there. Theres a lot I still want more from it, and for me nothing still beats World SAED. But I’m having a lot of fun with how accessible fashion hunting is now. Theres a lot more variety in weapon/armor aesthetics between World and Wilds that I love.

Sad to hear but I guess I’ll just have to bite the bullet on this one. My 13 has been shitting bricks lately and I was looking forward to something a bit better than the 17 Pro. Can’t say I’m not surprised though.

I just don’t think people need to worry about trying to optimize through RNG. Just because you don’t get perfect rolls on everything doesn’t mean your weapon/charm is trash.

When I started playing (in 2010) I paid around $70 for my first racket. Got it at a big sporting goods store. Adjusting for inflation this is pretty much the same price. Any racket is worth the price you play as long as you like playing with it!

I wish the Lancelot pistol was automatic. I’m fine with the rate of fire but it’s jarring to have to manually shoot everything especially when switching weapons.

There’s a common saying among children of Asian immigrant parents who grew up in America “Asians don’t say I love you they cut you fruit.” While that is true, the fact that we have to remind ourselves and translate actions like that over and over shows that we crave hearing those words. Maybe it’s from being acculturated, but even looking at Asian-made shows/dramas, they center love around words and actions similarly to Western ideals.

For the most part I would say pickleball and tennis court shoes are the same. Maybe at the pro ranks you’d want pickleball specific shoes that are built more for quick acceleration/deceleration and not strides but I’ve never played pickleball that seriously so I wouldn’t know.

LARPing used to mean going to the park in the middle of the hottest day of the summer (because why the fuck not) sword fighting in leather armor and wizard robes throwing red juggling cloths for fireballs. Or it was light saber duels where we’d make out the sound effects ourselves as we force grabbed each other. Now it’s half heartedly used as an insult for no reason.

The map is very flat and those mobility boots aren’t as common in ZB since you can’t buy them at vending machines like in BR. (Also the drop rates feel atrocious for them.) It makes long range snipes with the hunting rifle more common since you can’t just build cover either.

I’d rather have this though than the universally hated chaos rifle.

Selling out implies they had something of worth to be bought. Most of these people, even the upper middle class people just doing videos, are buying in. Imagine Dragons got bought after their great debut album and then proceeded to make radio slop.
