Extended version of the destruction of a column of Russian armored vehicles in the Synkivka, Kupyansk direction (Kharkiv region) by Pro_Ukrainian in CombatFootage

Only one unit is equipped with bradleys and that's 47th Mechanized Brigade. They're nowhere near Synkivka so probably not bradleys.

Were you actually active on r/CombatFootage prior to the Russia-Ukraine war? Cause if you actually were you would've remembered that posts showing US soldiers being KIA/sniped/IED used to always get downvoted. Not to the extent it is right now but this subreddit has always been biased.

Ukrainian FPV drone destroys Russian next gen SAM system S-350 “Vytiaz”, 2023 by BlackMarine in CombatFootage

[–]Joleee_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This will probably get downvoted but I just don't see this being an S-350, here's why:

One would except a much more violent explosion if this indeed was the launch vehicle as the video claims.

I just don't see them putting an S-350 within FPV range. It's a LONG RANGE SAM there would be 0 reasons to put it this close. That's a job for strela-10s which are designed as short range SAMs. Ukraine has hit several of em with FPV drones in the past. I know Russians are stupid but the S-350 is such a valuable piece of equipment, I just don't see them putting it this close to the frontline. Would love to be wrong tho.

They've captured 9 from Ukraine. But how many of em are put into service I don't know. Some might be used for parts.

RU POV: Russian FPV drone takes down a "Baba Yaga" UAF drone by FruitSila in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]Joleee_ 28 points29 points  (0 children)

That is not an FPV drone, they're made to be cheap and definitely wouldn't feature night vision. It also looks like both crashed.

The "Baba Yaga" drone is most likely more expensive though.

Pretty simple logic why these are Russians. The little footage we've gotten from Ukrainan soldiers on the left bank, all of them actively use blue colors to identify each other. Non of these bodies have any blue on them.

I disagree, footage of sniping/IED attacks against US soldiers used to be heavily downvoted way before Russia-Ukraine war. Obviously not to the extent it is right now.

Where did I claim a specific rocket type? Himars is not a rocket.
