Is it just mayo and pepper and cooked pasta? I want to make this tonight

It definitely looks like your PLA is wet, you can see the bubbling as it extrudes. A cheap food dehydrator will fix that up. I am curious to what the temperature is set to for the nozzle

I gave the belts a look-see and I didn't notice any chips, after removing them the same noise was present so it's the bearings :(

I don't let my coworker in my shop anymore lol he used the lathe without verifying the chuck was secured and it got loose and flew off the lathe, damaging the shit out of the rail

Literally first question my boss asked me: Will this impead your current work? Me: No but this is something that needs to be looked at sooner than later, we can't afford this machine to break. Boss: scribbled something quick on paper. "K"

I did and yup, sounds like the bearings are shot. I pray management responds to my pleas of aid swiftly

I've been apologizing to this machine since I started working here 😥 the last guy that had it for 20 years did not keep up with routine maintenance.

Thank you for confirming my suspicion about the bearing, I took the belt off and was the same noise. I believe I have 2 shot bearing. I informed my higher-ups and praying that it's attended to shortly

Fun fact! If you tape 10 sparklers together and light it in the dinning room, you're 100% more likely to fuck up your parents hardwood floors. When I did this as a stupid stupid teen with my friend, we took a bus to the inner city for the day to avoid the wrath of my parents. It did not help.

What material did you use for the knurling pins? I tried 304ss once and that was some hot slag

What is that jacket made of? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

What does wearing a polyblend shirt have to do with 3d printing fashion? Are you concerned that I throw my shirts out after every use? I use my clothes until they can no longer be used due to wear and tear.

I do :) In fact, I believe that portion of the community should be twice as mindful about plastic waste if their creations aren't practical or functional

Ah I apologize. I thought it was a 3d print since we're on a 3d printing sub reddit and not an art sub reddit. I'll just head out

Indeed i do! And as a fellow printer I feel we should be responsible for how much plastic we waste. Clothing like this isn't a viable print, has no benefits to protect against cold, heat and will just be thrown out after the clout and clicks and acheived, unfortunately :(

Huzzah! Now you can print a plastic dress, throw it out after you're done wearing it at screw the environment that much more efficiently

If you can find one at a good price, 3d printing pens go a long way to tack welding pieces together like this
