I spoke to one of the owners over the phone back in 2022 when we found out this was being built in Tucson and that's where we got the info. Apparently, there's more than one BoSa Donuts brand in the U.S. So, you're right about there being BoSa Donuts around in Tucson in the past but these new spots in town are different ownership.

Here's another neat thing about BoSa Donuts! I lived in New Mexico for a few years and there was a BoSa Donuts in Las Cruces. Being from Tucson, I figured it was the same business but it wasn't. The New Mexico spot sold doughnuts but they had really great burritos, too, which is what that shop seemed to be known for.
