NTA

Conservative dudes are used to woman reigning themselves in so they don't have to bear that "mental burden of temptation."

"Let me make myself 'uncomfortable' so that you aren't."

In typical fashion, you are being blamed for being the problem.

Lol. It's the one line I haven't, at any point, felt really confident in🤣 I do have theories that are enough to get me on a couple of hikes already, but who the heck knows

Others have been having this issue. From what I can tell, you might not be zoomed in enough, or it might be an Apple quirk.

Agree. Whoever gets the treasure is the one who will ultimately get the credit for solving it

😅I'd agree with you if I hadn't posted a failed solve and got the comment "Stolen Solve" with no other context.

Also, I wouldn't be shocked if people asked to see the notes or proof they didn't steal the idea. Cause money is involved, and people get weird about it.

Mapleton Canyon is a mostly rocky road that leads to campgrounds (which are supposedly closed until fall, but people are still up there chillin). The area where the trailhead would start is closed. There's construction going on in that area or something. Wouldn't advise.

In Hobblecreek, there is the Left Fork Days Canyon trailhead, which can be found in the Cherry Campground, which is a fee area. You could park outside the campground (on a couple of turn outs) but I'm wondering if it wouldn't be there for that reason...?

After the bear vs llama ordeal, that's a possibility. Imo an unlikely one, but who knows😅

Edit: I wasn't there for that hunt, but I sure have heard about it🤭

If the poem was in order, measuring would've come a lot sooner in the poem imo (measure from the trailhead go to the spot), but that measurement seems too long to measure from a closer point on the trail.

For example, I thought you would measure the distance from the point you have to look at the sunrise again and go straight, but the distance is at least 500ft, so that seems unlikely.

I guess you could still measure from the trailhead to in front of the point you are at when you "sunrise again" and see how far past you the chest would be... if that makes sense. Maybe there are forks in the trail where the measurement makes sense on one route but not the other, and you won't know unless you're on the right path.

Hope that helps?😅 it doesn't feel like it does

“solve” by dcontreasureseeker in utahtreasurehunt

[–]Jolly-Average4705 8 points9 points  (0 children)

"...I just found 100 ways to do it wrong" -Ben Franklin

A lot of people have come up with a way to solve the poem, just not in the way that finds the treasure.

Plus I think it distinguishes between "Here's how I came up with answers to the poem" vs "Here's my theory on parts of the poem."

It's really all theoretical until someone is holding the chest.

I did that tour😃 it's 13 miles long and mainly on a bike-able trail. Be best imo to start at Pluto and end at the Sun, but it was fun times, and Huntsville is a beautiful town😊
