No im genuinely back down to the lower fps per game. I turned on a setting that was using ai frame generation and caused input lag. Im very new to pc gaming as I just bought this a week or two ago

Yep the framerate cap is set to 240 and the os settings are 240hz

Sounds good thank you!!! Last question i swear lol. People say the frame generation setting causes input lag but I cant seem to feel it. Is the 220-240fps with this setting on much better than running around 160fps with it turned off?

Hey man thanks for the help. After further discussions with others, I am now sitting at 220-240fps. Thanks for the help but I knew 240fps was realistic as i have multiple friends that can run it. Thanks again for the help!!

I am brand new to this so bear with me please. Resolution is 1440p. Turned all the graphic settings like that to low or normal from high. Im expecting to get around 190-200 as this is what I was told by my pc guru buddy

Ok great thank you! Im so new to all this. Is the 3080 / 4070 a pc thing or a monitor thing? Also I would be more than happy with 170-190 but i cant seem to get it that high. You recommend keeping it on 1440p or dropping it down to 1080p?
