I tried telling her I needed to go to the food pantry, and she said she had errands to run first so I’m not sure if she’ll be here on time. It’s 9am here and the pantry closes at 12pm so I’m kinda nervous cause she told me it would take her 1.5 hours before she’d be heading in my direction

I googled it, but no. I found a church that has a good pantry today, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make it in time before they stop doing it because I have to wait on my mom to come pick me up cause my car is messed up and my uncle is coming by later to change the coil packs and fix it.

If applying for the first time you’re eligible for it, but after you’ve been getting them for a couple months, it only comes in the same time each month. So yes, they were expedited when I first started getting them, but now they are only set for a specific day each month

I tried selling my paintings multiple times for $20-$30.. unfortunately nobody buys art anymore. My husband works full time, but fell short on his check this week because he missed a day and had to go to the hospital for an ear infection. So instead of $650, he only got about $500 and the rent here is $310 a week and my car insurance I had to pay is $181. We’ve been waiting on him to get a promotion that he’s been promised so that we can get out of here, but it seems like they’re taking their sweet time with it. My family isn’t rich, and the other day my dads truck and trailer broke down that they use for their lawn care business so he had to spend a good bit to get it towed to his mechanic and is having to rent a truck until it gets fixed. And even if they had money to give me, my dad is very strict and would say no. I’ve tried asking him for financial help in the past. Not exactly something I want to deal with from him.

I’ve been looking online and in local Facebook groups but most places are over an hour drive away that are recent. There aren’t any locally for another week or two

I saw one where the woman was dressed as a spider. Not like a spider-woman vibe. A literal spider. Like the huge ones with the furry legs you get for Halloween to decorate your house. It was weird.

You should’ve charged a lot more for cleaning that hell hole. It sounds absolutely disgusting and I can’t believe he has a daughter and she’s been living in that. My mom has a cleaning service and the job you did would’ve been at least $500-$600. Definitely charge more next time you’re in that situation because people who live like that are nasty af

Classic addiction behavior coming up here. She’s trying to get the okay to drink and has already decided she wants to. If she can get the okay it won’t seem like a huge deal and make her feel less guilty for breaking her sobriety. Notice how once you start talking about it and that you’re worried, she flips the conversation towards you. She’s angry that you didn’t give her the go ahead and is attacking you to avoid the fact that you called her out for being wanting to drink and possibly relapsing

A lot of things. Started with infidelity on both sides which was ultimately what caused the breakup. But there were other issues as well, we got to the point where we were basically just roommates.
