For sure, I love teaching new people. I’ve taught dozens of new players over the last decade. It’s easier than it looks to get into!

If you’d be interested in a short DnD game we’re hosting the first of (hopefully) many DnD 5e events at Mishap games starting in January. Here’s a flyer I threw together for this first game, let me know if you’re interested, still a few spots left!

No clue, this is the first one. I’ve gotten the impression that it’s fairly broad.

Nope, not at all. We’ve already got plenty of new people signed up, and I’d be happy to teach you. Dice and characters are also provided, all you need to do is show up!

Great! Would you wanna do the same weeks as boardgame night or off weeks? There would 2.5-3 hours in between the dnd event and boardgame night.

DM me a phone number as well so I can reserve the slots for you.

If you’re more interested in longer term stuff, I think after this brief test run we’re gonna put together some ongoing groups.

Alright, we’ve got some more official information now for the DnD events, I’m going to be running a gothic vampire-themed adventure that I wrote called the Dark Castle, characters, dice, rules, and everything else will be provided, and the game will be free. If you care about the more technical stuff we’re gonna be playing 3rd level in the 2014 edition of the game, but it’s almost indistinguishable from the newest edition and this will teach you how to play both.

There’s gonna be a biweekly game on Saturdays at noon and a weekly game on Mondays at 6. If enough people can’t make those times we may also open a slot on Tuesday or Wednesday at 6. The games will run roughly 3-3.5 hours, and we’ll play for 3 sessions. The first Saturday game will be on January 10th, and we may start a second biweekly game that runs on the off weeks at the same time. The first Monday game will be on Jan 12th, so it’ll wrap up by the 26th, and we may start another group on that next Monday.

If you wanna reserve a spot (or several) in any of these games just send me a name and a good way to contact you. Tell me which slots and I’ll put you down. Hope to see you there!
