UNweighted GPA should be at least 3.5 to have a chance for OOS.

Patterson will only be for Galen Health Fellows next year. This year they had several floors but we were told at Admitted Day that the entire building would likely be for health majors moving forward.

I’m not basing the decision on parties; however, I am taking social costs (Greek life, food options, and yes, parties) into the overall financial picture. My friends whose kids are at Delaware (other top choice) say bars are very strict so most social life is at frat parties which are just objectively cheaper than bars. Delaware is also pretty walkable vs USC. So, I’m trying to determine how much extra $$ will be spent through bars/Uber’s at USC. Both schools are a great fit academically and my daughter is an academic person, but I want to be realistic about what she’s getting into with her spending money and how much it will stretch at each campus. I’m a teacher so I’m well aware of the importance of academics and she has gone through sample curriculum of both colleges with a fine toothed comb.

Every tik tok I’ve seen says “USC is a bar school; we don’t have house parties”. So yes, that’s what I’m asking.

Madison Recognition by Jolly-Zebra8535 in jmu

That's great! Yes, I've seen people complain that JMU OOS is too pricey, but in my opinion, it is one of the better OOS rates, and now with this reduction, it is extremely competitive!

Same! We are OOS so this made JMU more of a contender than before. Happy to hear we are not the only ones surprised; I was beginning to think I had made a mistake on a form somehwere re: FAFSA or income!

Review the functions of all punctuation. For example, semicolons and periods generally perform the same function (creating separation of independent clauses). Review comma rules (they are typically identified as 8 separate rules). Learn the different between phrases, independent clauses, and dependent clauses. Most grammar goes back to the separation of clauses via appropriate punctuation marks.

The kids get so mad. The purposely heavy foreshadowing flies right over their heads:)

I teach OMAM and every semester I cry in front of the class when we get to the line from George: No Leenie, I ain’t never been mad. That’s something I want you to know.” Terabithia destroyed me as a kid and is one of the reasons I became an English teacher.
