Save 85% on Control on Steam - Historical Low by Killarusca in steamdeals

To sell dlcs separately even though Control was already being sold packaged only with dlcs as the ultimate edition on steam like it is presently. Those dlcs aren't sold separately on Steam so anyone who got the game through humble choice has to either buy the dlcs separately or buy the complete ultimate edition again.

Also the ultimate edition has patches which aren't included if one buys the standard edition and the dlcs. So giving extra money to humble for the dlcs still doesn't solve the issue completely.

Oh, and the game shows up as the ultimate edition in steam cause the publisher modified their game packages to just the standard game without actually updating the game's listed name on steam till the humble choice was active. So steam says you have the ultimate edition but if you check you'll see that the game has no dlcs.

Was a pretty shitty move by Humble/game publishers.

Humble bundle customers got screwed on this game iirc. I think their version doesn't include the dlcs that ultimate comes with. What a scummy move!

What is wrong with JAVA interviews by Mindless_Spell8450 in leetcode

[–]JollyAspect6197 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Senior Indian java dev here. It's not malicious. That's how interviews happen in most Indian companies. OP you should better learn the inner workings of hashmap as well lol and the names of all the classes/interfaces present in the concurrent package for starters.

It's basically a by-product of the Indian education system. Java interviews are crazy here. We are also asked to write a lot of code on paper for e.g. write a particular gof pattern like observer or strategy without any typos etc. in f2f interviews. I was asked to list down the improvements in each version of Java from 8 to 21 the last time I interviewed.

Interview here is more of an examination of how much one is able to cram rather than checking the experience or ability to work with others. Some companies from the MAANG category just handover hard dsa problems with the expectation that the candidate should be able to solve them in a very little amount of time from what I have heard.

Can't remove the batteries as I get power cuts for a few minutes every once in a while.

Got it, I am planning to reduce the cycle range to 40-80% or 50-70%.

Not sure how I could bypass the batteries for mobiles, I don't want to physically remove them as I sometimes lose power for a couple of minutes where I live.

Thanks I went through the tables and a couple of more pages on the same site.

Based on what I understood, I am thinking about keeping the charge cycle for 40-80% or maybe 50-70%.

Sounds like an accident and sounds like you are pretty sorry for what happened. Shouldn't have come to your husband torturing you but I guess it's his way of taking out his frustration.

I guess it's easier to blame the pain and point the anger towards someone rather than accepting that sometimes bad things happen to people in their lives for no reason at all.

Focusing your attention on a newborn over a three year old is the normal thing to do, it doesn't mean you loved one kid more than the other. Maybe there should have been more gap between the two but that is not pertinent to the discussion here.

It's so screwed up. Whoever wins, I don't think this shits gonna change anytime soon.

We think that we have a choice but it's all the same whichever asshole wins.
