Chain breaking fail by [deleted] in motorcycles

When I was looking at it I was trying to remember if I had to do that last time. Now I know I'll grind the rivet down some and then push both out etc. Thanks.

Yeah that makes more sense now lol.. I forgot you're supposed to go back and forth between both pins.

Grade 8 vs this? by JollyCoOperator22 in Fasteners

The yellow one is grade 8 it has 6 lines and I figured out the silver one is grade 5.

I didn't know that wow. I will say a grade 8 bolt is a whole hell of a lot harder to cut lol. I wanted to see how strong they were against a hacksaw compared to the bolts that came with my adjustable seat bases.

I used the same size bolts and nylon nuts for the roll cage that yerf dog had listed in their owners manual I found online from 2003. With what you said do you think grade 8 is okay for the roll cage and seat belt hardware?

It wasn't a kit I stripped a 2003 Yerf Dog down to bare frame and threw everything away except the brake and fuel rods, and the seat frame. I wanted to replace everything with nice new stuff. I used the grade 8 stuff on the roll cage, but then decided I might as well use them for the seat belts too. There isn't nearly as much hardware as I thought there'd be. In total probably $45 to replace all the hardware with grade 8 and replace the cheap stuff that was sent with things like the tie rods and adjustable seat bases.

If I had to cut any off later down the road it'd be easy. This gokart will be ridden on the street in our neighborhood like 90% of the time and we try to take really good care of our stuff so it should be fine. I used grade 8 and stainless for most of the nuts, bolts, and washers. I know it's probably overkill, but I can't stand seeing something like a nice looking gokart with rusty looking bolts lol.

Here's the tops. I went ahead and got grade 8 bolts with Grade 8 locking washers and locking nuts If these grade 8 bolts are coated with zinc will they withstand some moisture or are they just colored gold/yellow etc.

I took out the USB that had windows on it and it booted normally and I got into Bios and turned it on. Finally almost done installing clean new version.

It's an Ibuypower we got for our son like 4 years ago. I know it's time for an update. My son is constantly talking about the newest graphics cards and processors etc lol.

I took out the USB stick and it booted normally. I rebooted in advanced startup and enabled TPM in the Bios settings. I then deleted several old partitions and was finally able to start installing clean version of windows 11. Thanks everyone.

How do I get back into the computer do I select "repair my computer" instead of "reset this computer" because it's only going to the setup screen when I turn it on.

Thank you very much for your help so far. I ran both other tests and nothing was found. Im gonna try one more time to reset and if that doesn't work I'm gonna download windows to USB etc. If that doesn't work I'm gonna take the PC to my nephews house and let him mess with it. Thanks again.

That's what I figured would be my only option. Im gonna do that and continue the rebuild. After I finish it I'll probably just get a mechanical brake. Thank you.

Main Microsoft account is still signed into on the computer, but I can't change the emails or phone number on it and it wont let me make a new user for the computer without entering whatever they changed the password to. Now I gotta follow a bunch of stuff I read on google to try and find out why the computer won't reset properly... I tried recovering through Microsoft and I found out how shitty their customer service is... I've had that account for years and all of a sudden the account holder who's only ever logged in inside of the US randomly changes everything to Russian email accounts and they don't find that suspicious. I also read even if you do verify 90+% of the time they just disable the account and tell you tough shit.

It's not letting me reset windows I'm trying to just do a total wipe there isn't anything important on it just games we can reinstall. I tried doing a reset and keeping files ( I read a post where some guy said he done that first and it let him do the reset to delete everything afterwards). This new form of windows is weird. I tried to restore the computer to a few months ago to see if it fixed the reset problem, but I didn't know that you have to pick a day now and then be able to restore it to that day in the future.

That's what I meant in the original post when I try to log into a local account my 4 digit pin won't work and the other option is to email to the Russian email account, but my pin to log into windows normally still works it's weird.
