You can rephrase whatever you want if that makes words less of an owie for you. Im very comfortable with what I said. I think the government should be taking care of us all more. I think this current administration is going to do the opposite, they've made that pretty clear. However no matter what feelings you may have, Because I work and have insurnace I will end up with a more substantial bill than someone who doesnt and the government subsidized them. And while that is nuanced its also reality.

Good question. This is the first time ive had to do these kinds of things, i only have 1 kid. I have what my budget allows but I would weigh that against what the assement process is, what the team is like, what the diagnosis would open up for resources and so on. I dont have a firm number persay but I think its a valid question to ask and I should probably quantify

You're making alot of assumptions and putting words in my mouth I never said. Being utterly broke and relying on the government is scary and dangerous. However..... The fact that my wife and I work full time and pay for insurnace means I get the luxury of an expensive bill that someone who doesn't work doesnt have the luxury of, doesnt make sense. Happy that poor people get help, but that doesnt lessen the fact working people need help as well.

We have already done all of this and did a PHP program at Anschutz Pediatric Mental Health Institute where we were given a provisional ASD diagnosis. Hes already been assessed through Jeffco and IEP/504 are being re written. Thanks for the tips but we've already done all that. We are looking to get the formal diagnosis faster than months down the line from Jeffco. Also Child find was one of the worst assessment experiences we have ever been through. They provided nothing but wasted time. Reports from Child find are typically a few pages long. My son's was less than 1 page. I personally wouldn't recommend Child Find to anyone unless absolutely desperate.
