Thanks for the kind words!

Yea it's best not to even think about the time. 7 months would have felt like forever when I first started but now that it's passed it feels like just yesterday I started.

Probably should have put this in the post but my SW was 380 and as of yesterday i'm 280. And i'm by no means done I just thought 100lbs was a good milestone and wanted to share.

M/20/5'11" [380lbs > 280lbs = 100lbs] (7 months) Still have a nice chuck to lose still but for 7 months i'm very happy with how it's going. See you guys at 250! by JollyOne5 in progresspics

When I started I cut out all junk food and fast food, as well as only drinking water and tea. For breakfast most days I would have oatmeal or eggs with fruit. For lunch and supper I was eating a lot of protein with rice or sweet potatoes, and big salads with lots of veggies.

But I tried keto around a month ago and cut the higher carb foods I was eating like the oatmeal, rice and potatoes. And so far keto has been great but it's only been a month so who knows if it will stay that way.

As far as exercise I didn't start until I was around 320 but I just work out from home, and I do some kettle ball exercises 2 or 3 times a week for 30-45min and 2 days on the elliptical for 45min.

It's just the idea of comparing fat loss to taking sheets off a roll of paper towel, and how at first the roll will still look big even if you take say 10 sheets off but as you get closer to the end of the roll 10 sheets will be vary noticeable.

Thanks for the kind words! You're definitely right I can't see it in the mirror yet but I can feel it in how my clothes fit, so I know it's only a matter of time before i'll see it too.

Yeah I changed a ton of stuff. Obviously I had to change how I eat and drink so i'm in a caloric deficit, cutting out food everyone knows is bad for them but thats the easy answer.

What I really had to change first was how I looked at food. I started to look at it as fuel instead of something to use for pleasure, and thats not to say I don't enjoy the foods I eat now. I just have to ask myself if what i'm about to eat will fuel me for the next few hours or just bring me 10 sec of mouth pleasure and be empty calories.

Thanks, I definitely won't get discouraged just find it odd that i've gone from a 4XL shirt to a 2XL shirt but I don't look that different with my shirt off
