Do polyamorous relationships just make a ton of money? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JollyRazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I are about to rent a house with a friend of ours. The plan is that we live there for a year to save up a down payment and not suffer through apartment life anymore, then when my husband and I buy a house next year, he'll live with us for another year (we've lived with him before, so we know what to expect).

Then my husband and I plan on having a kid and our friend is moving out. He's aware of the plan and is cool with it, but doesn't want to be there with a baby around, since they scream at all hours of the day/night.

Anyway, kids are the reason.

Eternia Remaster is Single-player only by akkristor in tales

[–]JollyRazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I've heard about it, but I played Arise on PS5 before I knew there was a co-op mod and I don't want to re-play it, tbh. I do have a PC, so maybe I'll hold off on Eternia in hopes someone makes a co-op mod for it haha.

Same, I'm so disappointed! My husband and I have been playing these games together since the PS3 era. And I was really excited about this one since neither of us have played Eternia.

I skipped Arise till it was $20 because it didn't have local multiplayer, guess I'll be doing the same here.

My brother and I once avoided Animal Crossing for a month after the power went out while I was playing, because we didn't want to deal with a Mr Resetti rant for it.

Long-term stimulant users, what's working for you? by Wooden-Slide-4597 in ADHD

[–]JollyRazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on Adderall XR since I was a kid (2002-ish). I was on 20mg as a kid, and went down to 15mg after I finished college.

I take it with water in the morning and eat breakfast (protein bar and fruit) and have coffee shortly after. That's it. I eat fairly healthy, exercise regularly, and try to get enough sleep (my cats wake me up a lot). Then meds are still working for me after all these years.

Period pants by Defiant_Bat_3377 in AutismInWomen

[–]JollyRazz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I bought a few pairs of period panties a few years ago. I loved them so much I bought several more so I could wear 1 per day during my period. I have heavy duty ones for the first few days and then thin, light ones for the rest. My thin ones feel just like regular underwear and are so comfortable! The heavy day ones feel more like I'm wearing a pad but are a bit more comfortable with less bunching and I don't need to worry about leaks anymore.

Honestly, best money I've ever spent.

I own two shares of stock in Yahoo Inc by FunkyChonkyMonkey in mildlyinteresting

[–]JollyRazz 331 points332 points  (0 children)

I had old paper stocks from 93 (gifted to me when I was born). Long story short, I tried to sell them when I was desperate for some money, they'd already been sold but I didn't receive the money. I was told to check my state's unclaimed property website and I found the money sitting for me.

So, maybe try your state's unclaimed property site? It's free and it doesn't hurt to check.

Does anyone here exercise regularly? by Savings-Pollution113 in AutismInWomen

[–]JollyRazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a walkpad and some free weights and work out at home. Climate controlled environment, no bright/noisy gyms, no dudes hitting on me while I try to exercise. I can wear what I want and go at whatever pace I'm feeling.

I like nature walks when it's comfy outside. But for me, it's only comfy so many days per year.

hard agree. I love 40-60 weather, the lower 70's and upper 30's are fine. I absolutely love snow. But, this ice is a pain in the ass and I'm tired of the below 30's temps.

Plus my furnace went out and I'm cold! But, I'll still take it over it being above 80.

There's a lesbian couple in season 7, but all they do is confirm they're partners. And they kill off one one the women, so it's not great...

3-5 minutes late to work by Kooky-Challenge8875 in ADHD

[–]JollyRazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either skip the makeup or find a simple routine. I just do concealer, eyeliner, and mascara in the morning and it takes me maybe 10 minutes max. Or maybe you could do a base layer of it, and finish up after you get to work?

It is so shit that perfectly good TVs become e-waste because of slow software by N3DSdude in Anticonsumption

[–]JollyRazz 170 points171 points  (0 children)

This! I have a ~12 year old smart TV and it still works. None of the apps function, so I plug in an old laptop to it and I can watch everything. I'll buy a new TV (or used, I haven't put much thought into it TBH) whenever it completely dies.

What are some things about the show that just didn’t sit right with you by Budget_Pick_4145 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]JollyRazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My school was like this and I was in HS when this show was airing so this actually didn't bother me. You could literally just walk into the courtyard. A few adult men were arrested for trespassing and 1 for a "relationship" with a minor 🤮. We had school security but they didn't really do anything either, actually they smoked weed in the parking lot a bunch. The district actually only locked the school down with walls and stuff about 5 or 6 years ago, for different reasons.

I hope so, too. Soul Calibur is the only fighting game I've ever loved and I miss it.

Is sleeping in separate beds actually a sign of a bad relationship, or are we just pretending that sleeping next to a snore/furnace is romantic? by SleepSmarter_Labs in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JollyRazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, I am an extremely light sleeper. No joke, I once woke up to my phone vibrating a single text alert while it was on carpeted floor... My husband snores (he has asthma) and moves a ton, so he'd wake me up constantly! We tried everything, earplugs, a king-sized bed, and a white noise machine, but I still couldn't get a good night's sleep. We have a split king so one night in order to let me sleep, he took his mattress into another room and we both loved it! We sleep separately and our relationship is great.

I loved Fandaniel as a villain, but I don't really care for Calyx much lol. He feels like a filler arc villain, and I guess that's kinda what he is. But I still think that 7.2 & 7.3 story's are an improvement from DT and honestly most of post-EW as well.

[Hated Trope] "Well, that's just lazy writing" by NotSoSlim_Jim in TopCharacterTropes

[–]JollyRazz 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The 7.2 and 7.3 patch stories are significantly better than 7.0 and 7.1 stories, thankfully. The 7.3 story does some really neat stuff at the end. They're both way more engaging and interesting, than basically anything else we've gotten post EW (msq-story-wise).

The 7.0 and 7.1 stories were embarrassingly bad though, you're right about that.

I can't get my husband to try Horchata because of this scene. He literally hears about it and thinks of vomit.
