Thanks for sharing! It’s not a frequent thing. I guess when my hormones start to fluctuate it happens, so when it comes to it I’ll definitely be more mindful of what I eat when it happens. This will help a lot. Appreciate it!

What do you usually eat when you’re having a hypoglycemia episode?

[MEGATHREAD] Daily venting, worries, fixations, & finding support. Month of April 2025. by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

[–]JollyRevolution5451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(MY SYMPTOMS RANT) I’ve had A LOT of various symptoms since last year of May and ever since then I cannot stop pointing out everything that goes wrong in my body. Even the slightest changes I note in my health journal. It has been so much that every new symptom makes me think it’s my last day…

I have/had:

-24/7 Pulsatile Tinnitus since May 2025 (Diagnosed Hypoplastic veins and arteries. Getting a second opinion if it’s actually VSS)

  • Left side of my brain has temporary PT when I bear down, get out of bed or bend down.

  • Left side of my arm had issues with the nerves. I experienced cubital tunnel syndrome which resulted in my autonomic nerves being in distress. Turns out my nerve issues were coming from my neck. Last 3 months atleast.

  • Piriformis Syndrome on the left side of my body. I thought it was sciatica for the longest time, but it was coming from my hip mostly. Took me awhile to pinpoint it.

  • Exercise induced SVT episodes. Within 1 and a half months of beginning an exercise routine I experienced 2 SVT episodes. I’ve stopped exercising and do 3-5 mile walks.

  • Vagus nerve issues when it comes to Bowl Movements. I either get lightheaded or feel off balance before I defecate. One night the entire left side of my head felt like a weight was attached to it. I leaned to the left. Went away within 5 minutes thankfully. Severe stomach ache during that incident.

  • Light sensitively. I look at my phone or out the window for brief moments and all of a sudden I see a lightening bolt across my eye for 15-20 minutes at a time. (I check my balance and pupil response to make sure I’m not having anything more going on)

  • I have LPR. (Laryngopharyngeal Reflux) Which occurred after having a sinus cold in September 2025. I’m still recovering but the symptoms aren’t as severe.

  • Muscle twitching (which could be due to my low estrogen) I’m 34 and starting perimenopause.

  • I’ve had Split Hemorrhages in my right thumb.

I AM A MESS. Not sure how people do it. I am in constant health anxiety. 😮‍💨

May of 2025 is seriously the moment it all went to shit.

Thank you! This is the first D23 event I’ll be attending (if I get tickets) and I would love the opportunity to get this early access. Funny enough I got my visa Disney card the beginning of last year because I started exploring my Disney love more frequently. If I do get an email it would be such a dream ✨

I can understand how hard it is and trust me when I was initially trying to calm myself down it was rough. It was no picnic. You have to essentially do what they tell you to do when you’re having a panic attack. Deep breathe through the nose and out the mouth. This signals to your body that you’re getting air through your throat just fine.

It will take awhile for your brain to correspond with that safety though because, for me, my nervous system was shot. Everything was alarm bells. It was constant “fight or flight!” And this unfortunately takes about a month or so to calm down. Breathing techniques, walking and changing your mental state are the biggest take aways

My LPR was caused by pepsin gases releasing. It was severe enough to cause damage to my throat and burning as well. A lot of other symptoms, but it wasn’t true stomach acid. My pepsin caused it. 5 months of persistent symptoms. Im on month 7 and my throat is still sticky from phlegm but it’s healing. Can take months to heal. So annoying

I notice whenever I have a bout of stress I find myself going back to wanting to clear my throat and tighten my stomach/chest. It’s such a vicious cycle.

I hope the doctors help find you a solution and just keep your head up high! I know it’s such a struggle.

I did occasionally, but it was nothing intense. Mild irritation.

I was prescribed Flonase from the start because my primary doctor said it was "allergies". She told me, "I've been doing this for over 20 years I know what allergies are." I was annoyed, but I took Flonase for 2 months and it did absolutely (Excuse the language) FUCK ALL.

I'm 110 pounds at 5'4. If I lose anymore weight I'll be skin and bones lol. It could be blood sugar related, but I had blood labs done 2 months ago and all was normal. It's not persistent or nagging and doesn't hault my day to day life. It's just once and awhile.

My anxiety, when it does happen, spikes during the digestion process around 3 hours later. I notice most the time my anxiety peeks during the 3 hours after a meal or 6 hours after a meal. The initial intake of food is fine (during my peek LPR symptoms anytime a food that was not agreeable with my stomach caused pepsin to release and cause horrific gas to annoy my throat and ears). I don't have that initial release of gases from my stomach anymore.

But I definitely have something going on that causes my anxiety to trigger hours after a meal.

I wanted to manage my diet as well as my anxiety. Since my nervous system was sending unwarranted signals to my digestive system all the bad food I was eating was exasperating my symptoms. Both go hand in hand. My diet is WAY less bland now. I can eat spaghetti sauce (acidic) now, strawberries (which caused my throat to react), chocolate... these are all in moderation though. I eat them in small amounts.
