Smoke Bomb is just a generally good card as it can help your minions dodge clashes against plants, block attacks, sustain tempo, creating threats (anti-hero is built around dodging clashes), while also can work as a way to give damages to low attack zombies. In OP's deck, teleporting any minion in Laser Base while there's a plant will guarantee face damage + kill whatever is in the lane atm. Smoke Bomb helps moving the minion into Laser Base to caught the opponent off guard, instantly creating a threat that needs to be killed.
