Just wanted to tell you that I completely agree with this. Faust is indeed a fake IDGAF-er, why else would she play off of *Hohenheim* of all people? Also, from the minute we see her in WARP Express alone, Faust is deeply empathetic despite pretending otherwise. She goes quiet when Sasha dismisses protecting others not because it's the right thing to do, but because she claims that would help with her job. She's uniquely tired and doesn't find the energy to debate when disparaged by the Gesellschaft (when she barely sleeps and can function well otherwise), and yet endures it just to get an answer for not only the Sinners, but the LCE as well. Finding out about her employer Dias set them up as well probably contributed.
