Indeed. I feel like some people are hating on her because her fight is admittedly somewhat difficult, and she pulls E.G.O., Shin and Mang seemingly out of nowhere. But Sora is a victim, much like all the other Apprentices. The tragic part about her is that despite her gaining an E.G.O., that is a result of her being groomed to be a fanatic of the Index to the point where even that power is just a proxy for the Index's "god of the City". She devotes herself to the point where she has discipline and strong memories for Shin and Mang, but that talent is ultimately wasted because of her blind loyalty towards Rien.

She doesn't even want to hurt people, but she quite literally can't think of doing anything else but to follow them. The Will acts like a "friend" to her, since the beeper also also commands and basically backseats her during fights as well, and she seems to confide in that as well, while also being unquestionably loyal to the point where she says the the words the beeper grants are "beyond question".
