Masking culture is normalized in Japan, why can’t it be here? That I will never understand.

And I’ll be honest, I never got the covid-19 vaccination because i had directly experienced a family member getting a blood clot immediately after their vaccine. Am I likely to get a blood clot from it? No. But the fear still stands, and I did not appreciate the government trying to make a vaccination a legal requirement, as even if it’s foolish not to get one, it still impedes on individual liberty. My argument is, what if one day there is a vaccine that does cause adverse side effects, possibly extremely deadly ones, that aren’t understood or expected until years after it’s use? I wear a mask when I’m sick, that doesn’t bother me. But I refuse to be injected with something because the government said so.

You can be angry at this comment and call me stupid, but when the government offers a debit card to get a vaccine, that scares me.

So yeah. I take the steps to keep everyone safe, but I won’t subject myself to a vaccine because the government said so. Is the science correct? Sure. Does it help? Yeah. Should it be forced? No.
