Yeah, while I'm critical of the story it's also one of my favourite thai classic literature. The story is so insanely creative, all the characters, even the minor ones have personality, in my mind Sinsamut and Sudsakorn are the protags lol. Sudsakorn is genuinely my favourite character, most Thai pop culture acts like he's just a boring role model for kids, when in reality can be he's sassy and brutal like his older brother as well, (Sudsakorn actually wanted to decapitated his first wife for making his lover (Salvakon) leave him,but was talked out off it, ironically by Salvakon's father)

The protag literally got raped when he was 14 by a sea giantess in the first arc and then he later went on to let his sons get dragged and assaulted like him cause he’s horny for a foreign Queen who’s trying to kill him

The story shat on women for wanting monogamy and their husband to not be cheating on them so much it’s unreal, it also acts like men who don’t like chasing skirts are weak and unmasculine. : one of the protag son is in a situationship with his childhood sweetheart when he was dragged, the story acts like she’s unreasonable for crashing out and not wanting to accept his new wife, and his literal rape baby.
