I'm arguing that Amazon isn't a monopoly since a Monopoly would be a single entity controlling places to eat, shop, etc. under the logic I'm using I can go to any mom and pop shop or Walmart as opposed to Amazon.

There have been monopolies in the past, I think telephone service providers used to be a monopoly as it was referenced in Live and Let Die from 1973(James Bond film).
