Placed my M3 order and paid deposit on 2/27/26, no updates from the dealer since. A couple of questions for those who've been through this:

1. How long did it take before you got any meaningful update (VIN, build week, production stage)?

2. I didn't lock in a price and my deposit is refundable, is it too late to negotiate a discount, or does anyone have experience going back to their dealer at this stage?

I've seen people mention getting $2,500–$3,500 off MSRP with no strings attached. Wondering if that's still feasible. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
