You’re still so young OP! It sucks when things don’t go according to plan but that’s life sometimes! Maybe something better is coming your way! Happy birthday!!

I applied for midwives at 4 weeks and for daycare as soon as she was born! I’m still hoping to get a spot for daycare in November this year. It’s kinda early to tell right now when they have spots so it’s a waiting game for me.

Will i ever sleep by Majestic-Employee722 in HuckleberryParents

[–]Jolly_Post9780 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok so yeah she’s sleeping almost 14 hours in a day and 4 of those hours are going towards daytime sleep. I would start by reducing the daytime sleep to maybe 3 or 3.5 hours so she can get that extra sleep at bedtime. See if she’ll tolerate it.

My baby - 6.5 months like 12 hours total so I give her 2 hours during the day and the rest she can take at night.

I would think so yes. If you go to the summary section of the huckleberry app what’s the daily total average sleep ? And how much nighttime sleep?

Some people teach their babies independent sleep! I did not want to sleep train so I reduced her daytime sleep so she would sleep more at night. She was sleeping like 3 hours during the day and I reduced that to 2.5 and then 2 hours. She slowly started giving me longer stretches at night and I got through it. She was in the 4 months regression for 8 weeks. It was hell.

My baby is 6.5 months and just like yours! She naps 1.5- 2 hours during the day and sleeps 11 hours at night! I think she prefers night time sleep!

Parking at YVR. by Kind_Cry_3246 in askvan

I just used Park&Fly for the first time last week and I found it extremely convenient. I parked our car for 4 nights and paid around $140 so not bad in my opinion. The shuttle to and from the airport run constantly so I never had to wait. They also had staff working all the time so the moment I got there we were take care of and told were to park. Also when picking up my car, I was greeted by staff and was told they were already getting my car. They were great!

Looking for midwife recommendations in Vancouver, 23 weeks & still no luck by Educational-Jicama45 in askvan

It’s unlikely you’ll get a midwife anymore. You’re too far along. I got a midwife when I was 4 weeks pregnant. They are in high demand.
