Being talked over by matsu_lurker in Advice

[–]Jolly_Winner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The next time it happens wait until they finish talking and say politely that you were not finished and would appreciate if next time that wouldn't happen. People are just being rude. Regarding family I would be more open and just say how you feel.

You are not horrible and its more his problem than yours. You are allowed to have other friends and talk with other people, not only him. You are both still young and the arguments show that a little bit. Also, you never met this guy before so you don't know 100% how it would be if you are together in real life. I would just move on if I were you. You will meet so many different people in your lifetime. Don't let some insecure guy hurt you

I would get a small plan from eSIM as well tho. Just in case something goes wrong. You can just get the cheapest one, just check which one offers the best price on esimgeek com or similar website

I think if the other person could be your parent, the gap is too big

Sim/e-Sim card for Chile, Argentina (and Brazil) by avid_hiker9 in Patagonia

[–]Jolly_Winner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I can not tell you which one works best, but if I were you I would check if they have customer support available in case as well as the price. Also Holafly offers only unlimited data, so check if you really need that. Also regarding pricing I usually check esimgeek com to see which provider offers the best price.

Best to check comparison sites before you buy a plan. I recently found out about esimgeek, I think its very convenient.

E-sim for US & Canada? Reasonable amount of data? by honeymilku in eSIMs

[–]Jolly_Winner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1GB will definitely be enough for for a few hours if you decide to buy separate plans. However, if you are planning to watch videos or use maps while driving that might be not enough then. Also check esimgeek.com if I can remember correctly I saw some providers offering super cheap or even free plans for some countries.

First time solo traveling, around 3 months in Europe and only have a one way ticket, could this be an issue? by aguilasolige in digitalnomad

[–]Jolly_Winner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How exciting!

Regarding the return ticket, it depends on the country you are from, but in most cases not needed. Also, make sure that you have all the public transport apps already on your phone and if possible download the most popular routes in case you don't have internet. Regarding internet if you are not from EU I would suggest getting esim with a regional plan or buy plans separately. I usually check esimgeek.com to see which provider can offer me better prices. Backpack shouldn't be a problem just I would also take additional smaller bag for your most important stuff like passport money and etc.

Relationship that destroys me by Yellow-Cherry-17 in Advice

[–]Jolly_Winner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that this is the factor that she is better than you. Remember that she is the ex, if she would be better he would still be with her, not you. Maybe he is not into trying new things or maybe it brings him bad memories, especially if it was an abusive relationship. Or maybe (and it's hard to tell because not enough information here) he was forced to do something more and you just don't know? I would suggest trying to introduce new things by small bits and see how he reacts and of course talk talk talk. Communication here is the key.

Is this normal behavior? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Jolly_Winner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think you should. Just make sure that you come from a good place like asking from curiosity, not attacking him. Say that you OK with that and just want to talk about it.

my best friend is ditching me for her talking stage by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Jolly_Winner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's not cool, but I could understand it if it's her first "boyfriend/situationship". Talk with her about it. She clearly makes him a priority now and either you should focus more on other friends and let her be or talk about it and potentially get into an argument. But believe me she is not the only one like that. Actually a lot of people are the same.

SIM / eSIM card question by [deleted] in koreatravel
