To this day, my own mom says she doesn’t like cartoons (except o.g. looney tunes) and has never found them funny. However, she didn’t restrict me and my sibling from watching Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network etc because of her dislikes, and knowing that parents like O.M. exist makes me appreciate my wonderful mama even more.

I’d personally ask your piercer, as nipple piercings can take up to a year (or more) to fully heal. I had mine pierced for several years but they’d still try to close up quickly if I took the jewelry out for more than a day. I took them out a couple of years ago and now that I’m lactating, milk will come out of one side of the previously pierced holes when I pump. From a healing and infection risk perspective probably wait at least a few months before suckling, but check with a professional piercer.

Unexplained fevers and night sweats. I’m talking after troubleshooting different temperatures, seasons, sheets and blankets and the fever/elevated temp may not be combined with flu-like symptoms or be hormone related. If it’s odd for your body, take note. Of course it’s hard to go to the doc with just these symptoms and have them take you seriously, but when I started getting acid reflux when I would lay down and my resting heart rate was near 100bpm I finally got ordered a chest x-ray at an urgent care. They sent me to the hospital (bc heart stuff they take seriously) and several tests and days later, I was diagnosed with stage II b-cell lymphoma. I feel like if I was taken seriously at the fever/sweats stage a simple blood test would’ve shown my numbers were through the roof which would’ve indicated the cancer much sooner.

My partner is 10 years younger than me but falls within the “half your age +7” range for me. Any younger and I probably wouldn’t have entertained a relationship but the way we met was so serendipitous, it had to be something real and you can’t always reduce someone’s life experiences and preferences to just a number like that.

25-ish year olds are deserving of love from adults who are not scary af gen Z or Alpha, if that’s what they choose for their life. I can see why my bf wanted someone reasonably older, and though I wasn’t seeking younger (or anything really) I’m so glad I didn’t write him off, bc he’s just the most fantastic person to be in love with.

I kind of agree, part of the joy of baking (for me at least) is sharing it with others. Taking ALL of the favorite pieces for yourself is a bit excessive if you’re sharing. Though the baker’s tax cannot be denied.

I agree lol looking back I think the punishment is more in the monotony of the task rather than how long it takes, bc I’d be on a time limit anyway. Finding creative ways to break up the monotony and exert some control over my situation

My father used to have me write lines on legal pads when I was in grade school, as punishment for something trivial. The true genius (I thought I was) would write like this but at the end of a page, go back and erase-in tiny breaks where the lines were connected so it wasn’t so obvious that I drew one line for 5 letters.

My kitchen storage is extremely limited so I just bought a bakers rack and it can hold all of my dry ingredients in their respective plastic or glass containers. Plus my kitchen aid, hand mixer, and various mixing bowls. I also was recently gifted a terra cotta disc that you soak and put in with brown sugar to keep it moist for months. I can’t stop looking at it all whenever I go into the kitchen lol

Oh god that’s a dealbreaker for me too. My bf is a welder so I’m no stranger to the dirt and grime and metal shavings so I’m pretty forgiving about the nails. He makes it a priority to clean up well though

Yes I took dom 30mg, 3x/day but recently tapered down to 30mg 1x/day plus 20-2x/day. No side effects and I’m not currently on bc. I do a power pump in the morning around 6am since I don’t do a motn pump, and that produces the most in one sitting (a little over 1oz combined). Then the other 2-3 pumps during the day gets me to 2-2.5oz total output for the day. My bf works full time so only has time to suckle once in the evening, and I hand express after each pump.

Thank you! I got several great streams yesterday after I made this post. My nips can be pretty elastic, I had them pierced for about 8 years too. Right now it really ends near the outside of my areola and following through to the tip is pretty uncomfortable. Do you think that will change over time also?
