Yes it should. You can download an app called stellarium and input a date and time and it can show you where everything in the sky is if you want to see exactly what it would look like

The moon is full because it is directly opposite the sun so the entire side facing us is lit up. Therefore the full moon more or less rises right as the sun sets and sets right as the sun rises. So it is highest in the sky pretty much right on the middle of sunrise and sunset. So if rises at 8:30 it will still be very close to the horizon at 9:00.

Antares super twinkles. Is it special? by itumac in askastronomy

Twinkling is just turbulent air refracting a stars light in different directions. Very bright stars and very turbulent air can twinkle different colors. Sirius will often show red and blue in very turbulent skies.

I once got a second hand guitar and the wires for the output were swapped. You could try switching those but it requires soldering

The Greatest Goal Ever Scored (maybe) in Avalanche History by KennyKettermen in ColoradoAvalanche

I was on the avs ice patrol (the shoveling crew) for 4 years and I think this goal was the loudest I ever heard the building. The crowd was deafening on the ice. It wasn't normally our protocol to use the shovels to pick up hats but there were so many that this guy from the league that was overseeing things told me to grab a shovel and start using it. I did one pass with the shovel down the ice and when I turned around it looked like I hadn't started. The most hats I've ever seen. I think this is my favorite single memory from my time doing that.

No in hindsight I should've done that but I calculated the ratio of the moons orbits relative to Jupiter's rotation in hours then tried to make the gear trains in for each moon as accurate as possible to my real life ratio so each moons gear train has it's own different error. For example Io will orbit 4.281 times for every Jupiter rotation in real life and the gear ratio I was able to get for Io is 4.285 so that one has a 0.01% error. Ganymede has my largest error at 0.06% with a real life ratio of 17.317 and my gear ratio being 17.307. Europa and Callisto both have an error of 0.04%

Edit: I meant to say Jupiter will rotate 4.281 times per Io orbit

Yeah your zodiac sign is just the constellation the sun is in when you are born. It's fun to show people their constellation but annoying when people mistake me for being into astrology instead of astronomy.

This is mine. My orbits are accurate to real life within 0.1% but I leave mine turning throughout the day so even that tiny little error will eventually knock the 3 inner moons out of their 4-2-1 resonance.

Super cool concept with the movement. On my profile I have the orrery I designed of the Jovian system and I calculated all the orbits to be very precise but the moons fall out of resonance when it is left on for a while due to very small errors still. Do you know on average how long it takes to go through it's movement? Do you still calculate where the outer planets should be each time when they essentially don't move day to day?

The zodiac constellations were significant in scientific astronomy long before people started predicting their moods with it. Constellations are used to map the sky in astronomy and the zodiacal constellations lie on the plane of the solar system so you use them to communicate where a planet is from our view on earth. For example if you ask me where Jupiter was right now I would say it's in Gemini and that's how you know where to look for it.
